Fireworks 🎇
Conditioning for fireworks..
Firework night is fast approaching and many people are letting fireworks off already. We want to get the pups used to these noises; today we started off by playing fireworks on the iPad close to the playpen, then we used a speaker to play the firework sounds quiet and then gradually to max volume.
How do you think the pups did?
This is something to continue as the pups move to their new homes. And is something you could try with a dog who is already nervous, along with treat training.. please see a qualified trainer for advice for you and your dog personally.
Our adult dogs are fantastic with fireworks. We never mollycoddled them as pups, and always acted casual with fireworks (and other loud noises) and always treated them.
We love to see these pups doing so well.
🐾🐶💕
Little Miss pink still has her cute red patch since birth, super sweet 🐾💓
🐾💓Can anyone hear the washing machine? As you can imagine with 7 pups, 2 dogs, & 2 humans it's spinning quite often , and these gorgeous pups are totally unfazed - we also take them in the kitchen with the washer & tumble going.. yesterday I had them in the garden with the mower on. I'd say they are fully equipped for a regular household environment already 💓🐾
Thumbs up from Mum Nora 😄🦴🎉🩷👍
