⛔️RAWHIDE⛔️

Christmas is fast approaching and we all love to spoil our fur babies,right? Let’s make sure we do it safely and ensure our best pals have a pawfect Christmas! 🎅🏼 🎄

Rawhide, we’ve all seen it in many supermarkets or shops, especially presented as gifts this time of year! It can often look really enticing and affordable, as seen in the image below. However, Rawhide is extremely dangerous for your furry friends for many reasons:

🦴 Rawhide can easily obstruct a dogs airways and become lodged in their oesophagus or lower digestive tract.

🦴 Rawhide can stay trapped in a dogs stomach which often requires surgery to remove, putting your furry friend through a stressful Christmas and costing you hundreds of pounds.

🦴As your dog can not digest Rawhide easily, they can also have a really tough time trying to pass the Rawhide causing discomfort and potentially another trip to the vets💩

🐾Let the pawfect, Rawhide free, Christmas gifts commence!!🐾

Squad goals! So Very Dog we love coming to see you 🩷 thank you for your kind words 🩷

We had a visit from the lovely Nikki and Craig from Home 2 Home 4 Dogs yesterday, and it’s always such a pleasure seeing them. They treat every pup like their own, creating such a warm and loving environment. We love that they create the same comfort and safe place that their owners do, and it shows through the love, attention and care they give and how the dogs thrive when they are with them. They’re so passionate in all they do, it really is a home from home 🤍

We had no dogs booked in this afternoon/evening (shocking I know!) so we went to visit our friends and best dogs suppliers , a beautiful hot chocolate (also dog friendly) and watched the light switch on. .exchange did a fantastic job and great to see so many people at todays event. If you’re in longton pop into and and say hi 👋. Starting to feel super Christmassy 🎄🎅❄️☃️

Another day, we found more snow!❄️
Today’s daycare have been out twice for a play in the snow whilst our boarders opted for a rest in our home. Making sure your dogs choose what they are happy doing is really important to us. Every dog has access to regular exercise and play but sleep and rest is just as important. Being in a home environment means there is plenty of down time and cuddles 🐕🤍 What’s your dogs favourite thing to do?
