Bradley has truly stolen the hearts of his family, Anita and Mark, who describe him as intelligent, good-natured, and a perfect addition to their home. He settled in beautifully with their other two dogs and was almost fully house-trained within a week! 💕

Their kind words remind us how important it is to raise well-bred, confident puppies—and we’re so proud that Bradley has surpassed their expectations. Hearing how happy he makes his family is why we do what we do!

Thank you, Anita and Mark, for trusting Park View Labradoodles to bring Bradley into your lives. 💜

The festive season is full of delicious treats, but some of them can be dangerous for your puppy. Make sure to keep these Christmas foods out of reach to ensure your puppy has a safe and happy Christmas- without vets bills:

🚫 Chocolate – Toxic to dogs and can cause serious health problems.
🚫 Grapes and Raisins – Found in mince pies, Christmas pudding, and fruitcakes, these can cause kidney failure.
🚫 Alcohol – Even a small amount can be very harmful.
🚫 Cooked Bones – These can splinter and cause blockages or internal injuries.
🚫 Rich, Fatty Foods – Foods like turkey skin and gravy can lead to pancreatitis.

Keep your pup safe this Christmas by sticking to their usual diet and treating them to dog-friendly snacks instead! 🎁🐾

The festive season is full of fun and festivities, but it also comes with some hidden dangers for your dog. Here are our top tips to keep your Australian Labradoodle safe this Christmas:

✨ Watch Out for Poisonous Plants
Poinsettias, ivy, and mistletoe may be festive, but they’re toxic to dogs. Keep them well out of reach (or skip them altogether).

✨ Fragile Decorations
Glass ornaments can shatter and cause injuries. Opt for shatterproof decorations, especially on the lower branches of your tree.

✨ Beware of Tinsel and Ribbon
These sparkly decorations may look like toys to your dog but can cause serious blockages if ingested.

✨ Candle Caution
Curious noses and wagging tails don’t mix well with open flames. Keep candles in secure, high places.

✨ Secure Your Christmas Tree
Make sure your tree is stable and won’t topple over if your dog gets too curious!

✨ Hidden Dangers
Batteries and silica packets are often found in Christmas gifts and packaging and can be extremely dangerous if eaten. Dispose of them carefully.

With a little planning and awareness, you can keep your pup safe while enjoying the magic of Christmas. Have any tips of your own? Share them in the comments!

At Park View, we believe that a well-socialised puppy is a confident, happy companion—and it all starts long before they leave us for their new homes. Here’s a glimpse into the steps we take to prepare your puppy for the big world!

1–2 Weeks ✨
From the start, we teach our puppies that human touch is gentle and enjoyable, creating a foundation of trust that lasts a lifetime.

3 Weeks ✨
We begin introducing new toys and objects into their environment to spark curiosity. Weekly nail clipping, exposure to Spotify sounds, and the addition of a potty area help them adjust to everyday experiences. Puppies also spend short periods apart from their littermates to help build independence.

4 Weeks ✨
At this stage, we introduce solid food and fun challenges like bridges and teeter-totters to boost confidence and coordination. Puppies learn recall and a marker word to build communication skills early.

5 Weeks ✨
With more people visiting and supervised exposure to new surfaces and sounds (like plastic and paper), the puppies grow even more confident. Play is encouraged, and we keep building on their progress.

6 Weeks ✨
Now it’s time for more interaction! Dog-savvy friends, young and old, come to meet the puppies. We also introduce new sights like hats, wigs, high-vis jackets, crutches, umbrellas, and more to ensure they’re comfortable with the unexpected.

7 Weeks and Beyond ✨
In the final weeks, puppies wear collars and leads for the first time and begin overnight crate training, with soft toys or blankets to help them settle. By now, they’re familiar with toilet breaks during the night, making the transition to their new homes smoother.

Every step of this journey is designed to give your puppy the best possible start, ensuring they’re ready to join your family with confidence. 🧡

Curious about our socialisation process or have questions about our puppies? Send us a message—we’d love to chat!

🎃 Happy Halloween from Park View! 🎃

Nettle and all of us at Park View Australian Labradoodles wish you a fun and safe Halloween!

Remember, this spooky season can be a bit confusing for our dogs, so keep walks early, treats safe, and costumes for the humans.

Create a cosy space for your pup to retreat to if they need a break, and keep them busy with some favourite chews or toys.

Wishing you and your Labradoodle a Halloween full of treats, not tricks! 🧡🐾👻

Halloween Tips & Tricks for Your Australian Labradoodle 🎃

Halloween can be full of strange sights and sounds for dogs, so here are some ways to make it safe and stress-free:

- Head out before the evening to avoid noisy trick-or-treaters, and help tire your dog out so they’re more relaxed at night.

- While costumes are fun for us, most dogs find them uncomfortable or even stressful. Instead, let your Labradoodle enjoy the night naturally.

- Keep them occupied with a filled Kong, a Toppl, or a snuffle mat—interactive toys are perfect distractions. Natural chews, bones, or a brand-new toy can also provide comforting focus if the evening gets noisy.

- Set up a familiar, quiet area for your dog to retreat to if things become overwhelming. A den with blankets or their favourite bed in a quiet room can help them feel safe.

- Keep all sweets, chocolates, and wrappers well out of reach. Chocolate and certain candies are toxic to dogs, so make sure everyone in the house knows to keep treats away from curious noses.

Halloween can be an enjoyable time for everyone—just a few simple precautions can make it just as fun and safe for your pup! 🧡 🐾

Australian Labradoodle vs. Poodle Cross – What You Should Know 🐾

When considering a new furry family member, it's important to think beyond just appearance. Australian Labradoodles (ALDs) offer predictability—thanks to their multigenerational breeding, you can trust their temperament, size, and coat. ⭐

From us, all ALDs come fully health-tested with hips and elbows scored, plus a two-year genetic health guarantee and lifetime support. ALDs are calm, intelligent, and less prone to issues like separation anxiety or resource guarding, which makes them great therapy or assistance dogs. 🐕‍🦺

In contrast, Poodle crosses often present more unpredictability. While smart and fun-loving, small crosses can suffer from separation anxiety, be hyperactive, and are more likely to exhibit resource guarding tendencies. You might also find their health testing and support less reliable.

Choose wisely—an ALD offers a dependable and balanced addition to your family! 💜

Why did you choose an ALD? Tell us in the comments below.

Meet Loki! 🐾

We’re so happy to share this wonderful update from Loki’s family, who welcomed him into their home from one of our past litters.

Loki has settled in beautifully, showing off his calm and intelligent temperament. His family, as first-time dog owners, found our support and resources—like the Baxter & Bella membership—really helpful in navigating puppyhood.

Thank you, Manj & Sarb, for sharing your experience and for being part of the Park View family! 💜
