🌈💔It's with a very heavy heart that our beautiful Marilyn passed peacefully in my arms of old age. Today looking out over the valley, a rainbow was also present at the time of her passing 💔🌈
She was a big beautiful girl who brought so much pleasure to everyone she met, she will leave a huge hole in all of our hearts but at the same time so pleased she brought so much joy from playgroups, birthdays, special needs schools to nursing and residential homes and community centres everywhere even our delivery guys stopping to take selfie and videos to show family members the big rabbit who came to greet them when calling at our house.
🌈She definitely crossed over the rainbow Bridge R.I.P Marilyn 🌈

As many of you know we are a completely self funded rescue and appreciate each and everyone that has donated so far and continue to donate.

This year we have decided to take a leap into merchandise of all our beautiful animals to put money towards their feed and bedding.
There was slight delay with delivery errors BUT they have finally arrived 😺 these are our personalised calanders for the year with snapshots of some of our animals here at powells.

I know we are already 10 days into the new year but delivery errors have had massive delay, they are £5 each and all money will go straight to the animals, we will then update you all with what we have managed to purchase with the sales.

Only 10 available for now as we want to see how well they do first, if we have a lot of interest we will up the numbers for next year and have other merchandise and raffles through the year so please keep an eye on the page.

Thanks to everyone for all your support again as it wouldn't be possible to help all of these animals without you all 🐶🐱🐴🐷🐐🐭🐰🐔🐤🐦🦜🐸🐢🦎🐍🐚🐌🕷🦗🦂🪱

🌲⛄🐇We would just like to thank everyone for all the support recently with the passing of my father,☃️🐈‍⬛🐀 we are trying our best to get back to helping and providing much needed help for animals and owners and most importantly interacting back into the community weather socially or at parties with our animals,🦎🐍🐌🐢 we look forward to seeing you all soon. ☃️🐈‍⬛🦎With this in mind we would like to wish sonic all the best in his new fantastic 5* home 🏡where he is currently being spoilt rotten and also our lovely ziggy (now sherlock) who is finding his feet in his new home.🏡🦎

⚠️Attention ⚠️

Due to family bereavement powells rescue will not be taking in any rescues and replies to messages may take longer than normal.

We will let you all know when we are fully operational again but as for now we are taking this time to be with loved ones.

Ziggy is looking for a home 🏡

Ziggy is a juvenile spiny tail iguana. He can be quite flighty but this is normal for his age, but with patience and handling he will calm right down and make the perfect family member.

He came to us with a home made set up so that can go with him when he find the right home. Please feel free to message us with any questions.

Could you be wolfs happy ever after?

Wolf is a 11 month old akita, we don't have much history on him so we can only provide information from behaviour in our foster home

He is reactive to other dogs and is reacting to the female in the forster home, however his previous owner was a female so we are unsure on his past and why this is a trigger

He would strongly suit a yard/security dog or a companion for a male owner
