A friendly reminder that it is going to be too hot to walk dogs during the day for a little while! Temperates that hit around 20-23 are already hot enough to dehydrate your dog. Anything above 24 is a heatstroke risk, and higher again is even more of a serious risk for your dog! Please take into consideration, if the pavement is too hot for the palm of your hand, or too walk on bare feet… it’s far too hot for your pooch.

Plenty of water, and EARLY morning/ late night walks recommended. Enrichment & mental stimulation can be carried out in your back garden as long as water is always available.
