Just a wee 30 minutes to stretch her legs, get LOTS of sniffs in, and practice some of the things we’ve been working on to build up her recall 😍
We used our new Tug-E-Nuff Clam toy which both the pups LOVE 😍
A short walk is more than enough if its filled with fun & enrichment. Never underestimate the power of sniffing, finding, thinking and learning on a walk. Its not always about the zoomies!

This weeks splishy splashy adventures 🥰
Just a pup sniffing a lamp post, but this was a proud dog mum moment!
Indy’s had a tough couple of months, going from spending her days with multiple dogs and people in different places, to being stuck in the house & garden to recover.
As she started venturing out further from home, she was getting a bit overwhelmed with the world after not seeing it for a while. She wanted to speak to EVERY person we passed, and was so excited to see other dogs she would jump and pull on the lead, and when frustration kicked in she would WOOOOF with her big Rottie voice 😬
I know she was just excited, but that’s no way for a lady to behave in the streets! So we started working on it straight away, to get her back to being comfortable and relaxed outdoors.
We spent a lot of time just sitting in the park, watching and listening, just doing nothing and making it rewarding.
Tonight we walked past kids playing in the park, a football match with lots of fast moving people, balls flying about, dogs walking past, barking, lots of noise, tiny children deciding they wanted to pet the nice doggy (🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️) and Indy was so calm 😍

This evening’s walk was one of those moments where everything we have been working on just clicked 🥰 so proud of these two today!
Indy walked past about 20 ducks getting fed by some tiny humans and just watched calmly instead of trying to chase them 🦆
Haggis walked with a loose leash like an absolute pro! We have been working extra hard on his lead walking since my operation as I really struggled with his pulling. Tonight was the first time I’ve been able to walk him comfortably on lead without using the front clip on his harness 🥰
And they both happily had a nice relaxed 10 minutes mid walk, just watching the world go by 😎 (the plan was to have some ice cream but the van had run out! 😩😂)
