A reminder to hug your pups extra tight after some very sad news about two very special pups recently 😢🌈

Beautiful Roxie and Big Handsome Otto have sadly and unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge 💔

Both were such a huge part of Wag This Way for a long time. I’m sure everyone knows how much I adored them both.

Roxie was a big, loving, crazy girl who loved life with all her heart and gave me the most enthusiastic welcomes every time 🥰

Otto was always a gentleman, one of the best boys I’ve ever met, full of fun and always hungry 🥰

I’m sure they are setting up a new Squirrel Patrol together wherever they are 😢💔🌈🐾

Nova & Reo looking to the future… 🥺

That’s us all officially moved out 😭

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me on this adventure. I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for trusting me with their precious pups, for allowing me to watch them grow up, make friends, and find their confidence.

Also a huge thank you for the gifts and cards, and for all of your kind words and messages over the last few days. As one of my lovely cards said - This is not goodbye, it’s just see you later 💜

Since I started Wag This Way in 2020 I have always, and will always, do my job with the best interests of your dogs as a priority. I have always done my best to let dogs be dogs, to help them and guide them how to be the best pups they can be, to allow them the freedom, love, fun and care that they deserve, to get to know them as individuals, always in a safe environment.

I have never, and will never, put profit before the wellbeing of your dogs, my own dogs, or any dog I have the pleasure of spending time with.

Every dog is different, but every dog deserves to be treated with love, respect, and kindness. Not every dog is a daycare dog. Not every dog is a group walk dog. Not every dog is a social butterfly. But every dog will always have their needs and feelings put first if they are part of the Wag This Way family.

Unfortunately, there are many out there who don’t share the same values. If you are trusting someone with your pup, please do your research! Ask a million questions, ask to see the space your dog will be in, whether this is a car, van, house, daycare facility, enclosed field… be nosy! Those who have your pups best interests at heart have nothing to hide.

Dogs aside, just a reminder to all the humans that it’s nice to be nice. You never know what someone has going on behind the scenes, so take a leaf out of your dog’s book and be kind, always 💜

I will still be available for 1-2-1 training sessions going forward, and group classes should be back shortly too.

The bosses would like to remind everyone that by law, all puppers, doggos, pooches, floofs and wigglebutts are entitled to 37 extra treatos and unlimited butt scratches today 🥰💜

Currently working on making these the rules every day, but until then, we hope you all have an amazing Monday with your pups 😍🐾

This big handsome lad turns the big 1 next week! He brought some birthday treatos for his buddies today and was full of big, slobbery birthday boops for everyone 🥰🐾

🐾 Dates For Your Diary 🐾

We will be closed on Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Monday 2nd September for planned holidays.

Our last day of daycare will be Friday 6th September 😢

I will be offering solo/small group walks on a temporary basis from Monday 9th - Friday 27th September. Spaces will be limited so please let me know if this is something you would like more information on.

🥳 We’ve had some birthdays this week! 🥳

Happy 1st Birthday to Freddie, Letty and Callie who all turned the big 1 this week 😍

Freddie & Letty had a great time celebrating with their friends - Letty even got an extra day of daycare to mark the occasion 🤪 and we can’t wait to party with Callie when she is back causing mayhem next week 🥰🐾

Thank you to their lovely humans who have spoiled all their pals (and me! 🥰) with birthday treatos, and of course for allowing me the pleasure of watching your fur babies grow up and become the amazing, crazy, friendly pups they are today 🐾💜

👃🏼 Intro to Scentwork

Suitable for all breeds and ages 🐶

Our classes are fun & friendly, using positive reinforcement and games based training to help you and your pup learn the skills and techniques to enjoy life in the real world 🌍

Group training classes are a great way to learn along with other like-minded dog people, while building your pup’s skills around distractions 🙌🏻

Small class size and the expertise of two qualified instructors means there is also plenty individual support for every pup’s team 🐾

Just a reminder from Pippin & Nova that I am now on holiday until Monday 29th!

You will find me snoozing just like this for the foreseeable 😴😂

Please could everyone ensure payments are up to date for this week, and any daycare requests for week beginning 29th are in by Saturday 27th.

To keep up with demand, the Snuggle Station has increased it’s capacity 😂🤪

Suitable for all ages, breeds, sizes, and no experience is necessary. All you need is your dog!

Across the 5 weeks we will build up your skills in various environments, using fun, positive training to harness their natural sniffing skills, teaching you and your dog the art of Scent Detection, which they are guaranteed to love!
