'I had tried Petstay closer to me previously (franchise as I understand) and had no luck, but with Alice (& her area) and not only was she successful in finding someone to look after my rather old but scared reactor, she had more than one for me to meet. Then for a recent visit he went to stay with a wonderful family, who he settled with and even had a bit of a zoomie (an indication he was happy). Thoroughly recommend Alice and her home boarders, thank you.'

"This was the second time we have used Charlie at PetStay for our dog. The house and garden are lovely. Prices are not much more than kennels in this area. But you know your dog is in a caring home environment and gets to go out on nice walks like when he is at home. Pick up and drop off is much more flexible than kennels too." - Richard

Mylie and Beau had a great holiday with us while their owner was on holiday, and their owner left us a really nice review 💜🐕........

'Great communication and clear instruction given from the start. I was able to meet the carer ahead of the booking and see where they would stay. We ran through a very thorough form to make sure everything had been covered from habits and behaviours to food / how they spend their days / walks etc. Day of drop off our carer had re read everything to have it fresh in her mind which gave me peace of mind and the dogs seemed happy to be there. She kept us updated and was just such a lovely person, really made our holiday to have someone we felt confident in looking after them, she also genuinely seemed to like spending time with the pups and said how great they were. We will definitely be using her again.'

'I would recommend this service , I have a doberman puppy & it’s not easy to find people /companies to look after large breeds , however Alice at Petstay had no problem looking after Flo , it was very easy to set up , cheaper than kennels or other pet services , great that my puppy was with a family so it was like home from home for her & she was very spoilt & part of their family . I would definitely use this service again , can’t recommend it highly enough.'

Always check your dog boarder has a license, it's so important!!

There are over 3000 licensed boarders on Find Pet Boarding, but there are many more thousands of unlicensed boarders on unscrupulous platforms that don't verify licence status. Please remind everyone you know with a dog how important it is to ask to see the licence certificate. Unlicenced boarders aren't monitored by anyone and operating outside the law invalidates their insurance. It also means they could be shut down at anytime and leave you with no holiday care!
