Basil is a gorgeous pointer cross pup currently in Cyprus who will be travelling to his forever home in the UK shortly.

Hi all, hope everyone is well!

I’ve strained my rear leg this week and had to go to the VET. I’m on tablets which I’m a pain taking, the only thing I will have them with is kitty food. I’m getting better and can come off the lead tomorrow.

It’s little sis, Kali’s 1st Gotcha day today, I liked it as I get treats too. Went to our favourite cafe where we shared a sausage roll and a pupachino, I had very foamy whiskers.

Can’t believe she’s been here a year, she can be annoying like little sisters can be, and I can be aloof at times, but I do love her, even when she charges at me when she wants a game.

It’s that time again when a tree comes into the house, one has appeared in its net today. This means the inevitable photo of me and Kali will be taken. I’ll post it soon.

Hi all
Hope everyone is safe.

Me and Kali are getting so fed up with this weather 💨💨⛈️☔️all our main places are flooded and the beach is a no go due to this blooming weather and high tides. 🌊

We are just making sad eyes 😞at mum while she works. She’s also running out of ideas for things to do and go to.

Can’t wait for the wind and rain to go away.

Evening all!

Me and Kali went down to the beach this morning for a change as the tide was out. We met up with my mate Cooper and had a great time.

It was really pretty and well worth an early walk.

Morning all from a damp and windy Somerset, we’re out in the camper for a few days, and this place is great, Kali and I don’t need to be tethered as we have our own secure enclosure where we can park the van. It also has a secure dog field too, although fence is not as high as some but it means we can have zoomies.
We had a good night and we’re ready for breakfast. Checked out the field and played in our enclosure and now having a snooze.

Walkies later I believe when weather is a bit better.

Hi All

Hope everyone is well. So today is my 3rd Gotcha day, can’t believe I’ve been here for that long.

I’ve done so much in that time too much to say. I’ve had a fantastic day.

- had a fantastic walk over the Brooks and had zoomies.
- went to my favourite cafe and Kali and I had a pupuchino and a sausage roll to share (my favourite nom, nom!)
- had lots of cuddles and treats
- finally mum booked one of our favourite dog fields and my best friend Cooper came along too, we had a lot of fun.

I’m now ready for a snooze.

Thanks again to Apollos Angels for rescuing me and finding me my loving home, and also letting my annoying little sister live with us who I love (most of the time😉)❤️

Hi All
So today we went to a new dog field (unfortunately Kali has gone backwards with recall 🤦‍♀️).

There were a few things to play on and we had a good run, and Kali did some more recall training which she was good at, unfortunately those pesky bunnies 🐇🐇 grab her attention over our fields, so back to basics.

Of course I’m always a good boy 😇 and come back when I’m called (well mostly).

We went to the pub afterwards by the river which was nice. Kali was a little nervous but I looked after her.

Hi All
Hope you’ve enjoyed the long weekend and weather.

Kali and I have had a lovely time. We’ve been to several of our favourite places, woods, cafe, fields, and dog field. We tried out the camper van too and Kali had her first BBQ as well.

We also had Auntie Jenny down for the weekend, I got excited when she came home, I love her loads.

My sister Kali is home from the V E T after her spay, she’s making weird noises and is feeling sorry for herself.

Hoping she feels better soon so we can play, but we need to be careful.

🎶Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me 🎶 🎉🎂

I’m 3 today according to my passport. I’ve had a lovely day, went for a walk at the woods amongst the bluebells, went to my favourite dog friendly cafe for a sausage roll, then to the pet shop to get some lovely treats. Off to the park in a bit, then a nice dinner.

I’ve got mum and dad to myself today as sister Kali is being spayed, so going to have to be a good big brother when she comes home.

Evening all,

Well, this weird weather is confusing Kali and I we went for a lovely walk this morning and it was fine to start then it absolutely tipped it down. We were in the bluebell woods at the time.

This afternoon it was lovely and sunny and we went to the fields.

Not sure if I’ve told you but Kali is back on the long line, her recall like her goes AWOL, back in training again but she’s getting better. Mum says it’s teenage times.

Hi all

As the weather is a bit better Kali and I did something different today. We went to the dog natural pool, it was good, but Kali was a bit unsure.

We also were a bit tired as we were going bonkers before we went in the garden, oops!!

It was nice to do something different though and we’re both shattered now.

Kali and I had a lovely run on the beach this morning it was lovely and made a nice change to slipping about and getting mucky over the fields and woods.

Kali was good too she’s been a bit of a pain lately coming back, but did 100% today which meant I didn’t have to go and get her.

Hi all

So today was a day of two halves, Kali and I had a wet walk around the houses first thing, then we went to our favourite cafe and had a sausage roll, then a walk around a big lake full of ducks and geese, again wet at times.

Got back and had a snooze and snuggle together and then this afternoon we went to my favourite place and it was lovely and sunny.
We had a lot of fun, sniffing, playing in the sand, jumping on logs and running about.

It’s more fun now as Kali is now off lead, although if she goes a bit far I do go back to find her.

Happy Saturday everyone!

I’ve been having a busy time with my new sister Kali.

We’ve been to the beach, woods, cafe and fields. She’s getting a lot less nervous and we get on very well.

I’m definitely getting fitter as we play a lot and run together a lot. Mum is too as Kali is still on the long line, but is getting there with her recall.

I’m still get lots of fusses and me time with mum and dad too.

Happy Sunday all,

I haven’t written for a while, it’s been really busy having a new sister around and tiring.

We’ve been out and about loads over the fields and up the woods. Had good runs at the dog field and even joined her in a 1:1 training session. Sarah the lovely trainer said I was a great influence on Kali and liked our dynamic whatever that means, think it’s good.

Unfortunately, we are not going too far as Kali is in season, and is a bit of a h***y. She is 2 weeks in and our hormones are all over the place. Mum said thank God I’ve been done.

We’ve had lots of early walks in the frost too which I loves, lots of fab smells. Met with Cooper too and we have lots of play. Cooper likes my sister too.

Anyway must go for a snooze.

Hi everyone

So, it’s nearly 3 weeks since my little sister arrived.

Like most little sisters she can be a pain, but I like her lots, we play and snuggle and even snooze when mum is working.

She still gets a bit nervous when she’s out and vehicles go by but I try and reassure her most times.

We play lots in the house, mainly tug, chase and bitey face and play with our toys. It works well she likes the chew toys and I’m a softy and like the soft toys.

She’s even met my best friend Cooper too.

I have to be quick with my food now, I use to leave it throughout the day, but she’s a pig 🐷 and guzzles it down. She has a special bowl but she is still quicker than me.

I wind mum up too and chase Kali when I’m off lead and she’s on the long line, mum has to run sometimes but she says she needs the exercise, but not extra long arms.

I’ve decided she can stay and we can get up to mischief together.

Hope you’re having a good holiday week.

I’ve had a lovely time, with pressies and treats and having the family around.

My big news is my foster sister Hope is going to be my sister. I’ve been getting on with her and showing her stuff and playing with her, and generally having fun.

She is bonkers at time, but I am too, but I like being a big brother.

Haven’t posted for a bit, I’ve been in prep for a new foster pup. Her name’s Hope and she arrived yesterday from Cyprus.

She’s tall and leggy like a supermodel but a little nervous, but understandable since she’s been through a lot.

Wow, blooming frosty this morning. I was a bit frisky over the field today and there were sooooo many wonderful sniffs, nose to the ground at all times mum thought I was going to graze my ho**er on the floor as it was on it all the time.

It was lovely though dad said it was like a winter wonderland.

I’ve decided to hold mum hostage in bed this morning, I don’t won’t to go out in the rain ☔️ or very strong wind, so pinning her down so I don’t have to go.

However, she says she has to get up to work to keep me in food, toys and treats.

There’s nothing better than an afternoon autumn 🍂 walk.
We went to one of my favourite places today, just me and mum (dad is poorly).
Played with some lovely dogs and had plenty of sniffs. Mum says it is so chilled here and her special place, I know what she means.

I’ve had another lovely day in Leicestershire, we went to Bradgate Park, it had loads of friendly deer, some with big old antlers. I was very good stayed near and didn’t scare them.
We went to a top of a hill to see a tower, I loved climbing the rocks.
Came back and had a snooze, then had a play with Milo and Doogie.

Now at a pub by the canal for a drink and I hear a lovely kebab is on the cards.

Going home tomorrow, and I hear Cooper’s mum is cooking my favourite “liver cake” and we may meet for a play when I’m home.

First full day on hols and a busy one.
Had a walk around the park off lead and some more doggies.

After that we walked along the canal and stopped off at the marina for coffee. Came back for a snooze and then out again to some lovely woods in the afternoon. Then a little play with Doogie and Milo.

I’m loving it here, busy but exploring new things.

So today my best mate Cooper and I tried out the pool at Chichester Secure Dog Activity Park & Training Centre we had a lovely time. We dipped our paws in and got braver and went in deeper, not too far though. It was nice and cool, we liked the little wooded bit to wander around in and have a play. Loving life Love Basil x 🐶🐾
