First trip out for some arena hire Golden Cross Equestrian Centre with ex racer Bentley. We went with no expectations as Bentley has a tendency to go into race mode sometimes and finds it hard to concentrate on what he’s meant to be doing, but all in all a very positive session with lots of noises and stuff going on in and around the arena.

Meet Bentley.
He is a 7 year old ex race horse who is a bit of a “stress-head” especially when it comes to schooling so I am here to help his owner get him to a more relaxed and focused stage in his training so she is able to go out and do a little bit of everything with him. In this video you can see he’s relaxed and listening to me and not everything but me which is what he can do. I will put a short video up of how he starts each schooling session but improves quicker everytime.

It’s been a good first month of 2023 for me and the business and looking forward to what’s in store going forward. I have a nice selection of ponies and horses that I’m currently working with from 13h to 17 who are all so different and have different requirements. I can offer many different services and here is an idea of what I’m currently doing.
I am re starting a pony whose history is unknown but is a challenge for the owners who called me in to help- a separate post will be done on this one.
I have been working on loading and travelling alone problems with the lovely China who is making great progress.
I have been transporting horses all over the country for Davis horse transport
Keeping my regular horses fit for hunting and general fitness.
Bringing one back into work after injury and then progress onto making him a relaxed general all rounder for his owner.

And not forgetting my own two who keep me busy and on my toes at the best of times!

I’ve become super busy again with lovely clients and horses so I thought it would be a good idea to share the progress’s of each individual on my business page.
I currently have 3 horses I’m working with weekly, plus my own 2, 1 of whom is competing regularly.
I do have some availability for 2x more horses on a weekly basis to exercise, compete or ground work. Please call or message me if you require help especially thinking ahead to the dreaded W word ❄️
