Today, Luca went for his first “real swim”. He launched himself into the river at full speed from about 20 feet away and when he got to the part where he was out of his depth, did an excellent impression of a washing machine.
He will be going again on Saturday with his sister Lexi (who also likes swimming but is much more sedate) and meeting 2 large black German Pointers - Sirius and Vega. Should be fun!

I am a very happy, but tired, boy! Today, my Daddy took me for my first ever go at Bikejor! He says I am a natural at it and he's never seen a dog this good on their first attempt. Yesterday, my Daddy harnessed me up with my friend Lottie to start getting me ready for trying Bikejor when I’m older.
I have no idea what all this means, but I had a good time and Daddy said he was very pleased with the way I behaved.

Just had a lovely walk with Daddy and my best friend Lottie. It was her first off lead walk since her injury and operation.
Daddy said I am super fast and have excellent recall. All I know is I had a great time!

Today’s walk in the Forest was interesting.
My Daddy said it was role reversal as I was off lead and my best friend Lottie was on the long line as she’s recovering from her operation.

I had a wonderful day today. Daddy gave me a special day out - we went to a place called “The Forest” and I loved it. Daddy says my recall is fantastic!
And at the end of the walk we went to the thing called “The River” and I had the time of my life jumping in it! (Sorry no video of the river escapade)

Today I have had THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
My Daddy took me to a place called “the beach” and let me run without a long line or anything so I ran and ran and ran round in circles (and always came back to Daddy when he called me). I love the beach and the feel of the sand between my toes!
I’m such a happy, lucky boy!

Daddy has promised to take me again tomorrow and we will get some videos too!

I went to the Forest this weekend to be with Daddy and Lottie while they Bikejor raced, and I met lots of new people and dogs - I can’t wait to be able to do it myself!
Daddy has explained that I’m not old enough to go bikejoring yet, but I now have a beautiful blue harness so I’m ready to go!

Just to prove that I’m now a year and a day old, my Daddy has just had to loosen off my collar by one notch!

I’m also as tall as Lottie and Lexi and rapidly catching up with Tess. My Daddy says I’ve got giraffe legs!
