Well what a great few days at the last Blair Horse Trials, firstly big thank you to STC trailers of Stirling for the rental of one of their 3.5 tonnes so we could get Fudge there, the van was easy to drive nice and smooth for fudge I would highly recommend these guys very friendly and professional staff, great value for money. Fridays ground wasn’t too bad and fudge was on fire jumping brilliantly in both the metre five and the newcomers taking the win for both and earning some £££, nearly 50 riders in each class so I was really impressed with him he jumped amazing for me. Saturday was a different ground very boggy and sticky but warmed up well and jumped well until number ten where he just clipped the pole and didn’t feel great on landing I jumped number 11 and he didn’t feel 100% so I retired him and withdrew from Sundays jumping saving him for another day, as his welfare is 100% to me. Was great to see so many folks again and I have to say thank you to Blair, my mum and Cliff for all their help etc and to all the ground staff and to the farrier for shoeing him last minute🙈 and the volunteers who help to run this event so smoothly and we managed to watch some of the eventing and jumping which was fab to see. 🏇🏇🏇 (More photos / Videos in comments as forgot how to use facebook)

Tommy Woodcock and stallion Reckless, the favourite for the Melbourne Cup that year. Taken by former Age photographer, Bruce Postle, the photo emphasises the affinity between man and horse like no other.

Tommy Woodcock, a great trainer, and horseman. I can remember being impressed when he could lead two or three two-year-olds around at the track in the morning. All calm and focussed in him... Ros Neave.

What a great few weeks I have had firstly double clear newcomers at Snec last week placing 3rd then this weekend off to the Morris equestrian for our fab unaffiliated show and again a super double clear for me and fudge gaining another third then the metre 15 with an unlucky pole and one refusal but going In the right direction then today finally passing my theory🚙🚗 super proud of of myself. I have a great passion for show jumping and the care and compassion I have for fudge is just amazing I truly have a great bond. Have to say a big thank you to Andrew Hamilton and to Kath and the boys for taking myself and Fudge and the warm ups etc it means a lot. Just love Williams videography and his comments just shows the support for when they go out competing, video of newcomers from the weekend and nearly the whole video if the metre 15
