The power of ignoring behaviour unwanted behaviour and encouraging wanted behaviour
Watch as a dynamic interaction unfolds between two adorable Greyhounds. The eager white dog initiates play, yet the black dog remains disinterested, showcasing a fascinating display of ignoring behaviour. Witness how the white dog swiftly adjusts its approach, demonstrating the power of non-engagement. This enlightening reel underscores the effectiveness of using the same technique with our own canine companions to address unwanted behaviour, if safe to do so.
While some may claim that training obedience skills in greyhounds is challenging, this video proves otherwise. With plenty of patience and encouragement, it's entirely achievable. I love it when I come home and I am greeted with Happy Tails 😁👍
I love this video of Timmy (white dog) inviting Caesar (black dog) to play. The impact of Caesar ignoring Timmy is so swift. This is dog communication at work. Because Caesar ignores Timmy, Timmy very quickly disengages. This is why I always say where possible, ignore unwanted behaviour and reward wanted behaviour.

It feels so nice coming home to wagging tails. It is like my daughter shouting DADY!!!! when she sees me.
Many people will consider physical activity as an exercise for a dog. Whilst not incorrect there is so much mental activity you can provide and keep your dog happy and entertained
Best part of dog ownership is coming home to happy tails 😄

Here is Timmy, who was with me last year as he was scared of the world. After helping him with his anxiety he was rehomed, look at him now happy and having a fun life with Tilly.
