*Pupdate*. I am sure you all remember the gorgeous Odin who I met a few weeks ago. Well, I had the pleasure of seeing him and his really lovely owners again today, and I am so very pleased to report that there have been lots of improvements in Odins behaviour since our first meeting. He is much calmer, has stopped jumping up at visitors and jumping up at the kitchen worktops, and most importantly has become much less of a ‘Velcro’ dog. His owners have worked really hard on reducing his over attachment to them, and increasing his confidence, which will all help greatly with his separation anxiety. Very positive progress for lovely Odin 😄

OMG! Just look at this absolutely GORGEOUS pair I had the pleasure of working with today. This is Ernie and Mila, a wonderful brother and sister combo. They are only 11 months old, so are still in that boisterous phase, but there are a few little bits that we need to work on, such as jumping up, lead pulling and poor Ernie is lacking a bit of confidence. (Of course Mila is in charge, being the female! 😜). I am sure with the help of their lovely family they will settle down in no time. Will post a Pupdate soon 🥰

Please meet the beautiful Luna and the handsome Blu. Unfortunately Luna forgets how much bigger than Blu she is sometimes, and is getting far too boisterous when playing with him. She is also showing some aggression towards him and is very dominant. Poor Blu is getting a bit bullied to say the least! Their lovely owners are going to try some techniques I advised during my visit today, which will help Luna to accept that she needs to live harmoniously alongside Blu, and that she needs to share her humans with him too! Will let you know how they get on 🙂

Ah handsome, lovely Odin! Poor Odin is suffering from separation anxiety, so I visited him and his lovely owners today, to discuss some techniques that they need to put in place to help him to feel less anxious. I am sure that he will be feeling more confident in no time 😀

***Pupdate*** I visited the beautiful Mable and her lovely family again today. I am so pleased to report that she is doing really, really well. She has really calmed down, and has started to understand her place in the household much more. She is not terrorising poor Chester as much as she was, and her owner is now able to enjoy taking her for a walk, much more than she was before. A really great improvement so far 😁

*Pupdate*. I am so happy to give you all this Pupdate. I visited the gorgeous Pablo again today. Wow, what a difference! He was so much calmer and happier for me to be in his house, and when we went for a walk he did not show any reactivity to strangers at all, even when we bumped into a man coming around the corner, which surprised us all! Pablos lovely owners have worked so hard and it has really paid off. There is still some work to do on strangers coming into the house, but the improvement in such a small amount of time is just fantastic. Walks should definitely be a much more relaxing experience for Pablo and his owners going forwards. Well done Pablo 😄

***Pupdate*** I am sure you remember the gorgeous Eli who was extremely dog reactive. I am really pleased to report that there have been improvements already. We had a lovely walk at the park today, where there were lots and lots of dogs everywhere! Eli was so brave and only reacted a few times, more so when off lead dogs came up to him, so it was a really great improvement. Still a bit of work to do, but a great improvement - well done Eli 😍

Thought I would show you all this. This is a new thing my own dog Otis has just started to do! He is demanding attention from us. If you watch the video, you will see that as soon as my husband stops stroking him, Otis is kicking him and basically ‘telling’ my husband to stroke him. This behaviour must be ignored, as it is Otis actually being quite dominant. Everytime you give into a demand, you are elevating the dogs position within your relationship. It is very important that everything is always on your terms, not the dogs. Completely ignore this behaviour, then only give attention and a stroke when the dog has stopped ‘telling’ you to do it.

Meet the beautiful Mable. I had the pleasure of spending some time with her and her lovely owner today, and her long suffering brother Chester! Mable is a lovely girl, who has just got a lot of excess energy to use up, and sometimes forgets how she should behave with Chester and the two elderly resident cats! She also thinks she’s in charge a lot of the time, so we need to make sure she understands who is really in charge of the household. I am sure her lovely owner will make all the necessary changes that Mable needs to really settle down and make life a bit easier for everyone. Look out for a Pupdate!

Please meet the gorgeous Pablo. I had a consultation with him and his lovely owners today, as Pablo unfortunately does not like visitors to come into his house or strangers when he is out walking. Pablo used to be such a friendly little guy, but unfortunately one day someone tried to take him from his owner and it was very traumatic for him and his owner 😡 Since that incident Pablo has become extremely reactive to people. We are going to use some techniques to help Pablo to start to trust people again. Pablo also thinks he is the boss in the house, so we are going to work on that too! Hopefully we can get Pablo back to his loving, sociable self! Look out for updates on here 😍

I met the lovely Luga today. What a beautiful dog he is! Luga is unfortunately suffering from anxiety and is also dog reactive. He is not sure who is in charge in the house, and is also not sure how to react when visitors try to come into the house, so he reacts with lots of noise to make the scary stranger go away! Once you’re in and he has settled down a bit, he is a friendly, affectionate boy. We had a nice walk in the woods, and he was such a good boy, although was not too impressed when another dog came up to him! We are going to work on his anxieties and dog reactivity so that he can enjoy his life a little bit more, and his lovely owners can enjoy their walks with him more too. Will let you know how he gets on.

***Pupdate*** I had the pleasure of visiting the gorgeous Nellie and her lovely family again this morning. I really am so very pleased to report that there have been great improvements already, in such a short space of time! Nellie (and her owner) has started to enjoy her walks again and seems much less anxious in general when she’s out and about. She even managed to encounter a bicycle without any drama the other day. This is just the best news, as it was really sad that she was so reluctant to go out on the walks that she used to love so much. Onwards and upwards Nellie 😍

A plea for help please!! I would be so very grateful if any of my lovely customers would please give me a review on Google? I have had a few people mention that they thought I had stopped seeing dogs as there are not any recent reviews on Google. Please meet the gorgeous Eli. Eli is a lovely, friendly dog, but unfortunately he really does not like other dogs (except his brother Chester) and is extremely reactive when he is out for a walk. His lovely owners are going to use some desensitisation and counter conditioning techniques which will help Eli to relax when he is around other dogs. Watch this space to see how he gets on! 😍
