Poor Ozzy is only 1 and is not only
dealing with a wound that should never have got to big and infected, it now his world turning upside down through being abandoned.

Meet Ozzy our latest Wings and Paws member!
Ozzy is just one year old and has come to us because he has a nasty wound under his arm.
Sadly a DIY home groom, cut the delicate skin of his armpit and was left for over a week, it's now infected and needed urgent treatment which his owner was not prepared to get him. Luckily we were asked to step in and he's now safe and sound and getting the treatment he needs with our latest Fosterer Mrs K until he's well enough to find a new home.

Another unexpected bill, but we were never going to let him suffer or be PTS so we'll find the money.

Exploring, sniffing and socialising!

These two hadn’t met before today, and they got along beautifully! Some dogs like to actively play with other dogs, some just like to be in the company of other dogs and some dogs will only tolerate other dogs being in their space. Socialisation takes many forms, and it all depends on the individual dogs and their personality.

🎉 Our first ever Saturday Social is planned for April!🎉

Limited spaces available for these walks, and are only available to dogs that have been on at least two walks with me, before the social date.

The first Saturday Social will take place at Middle Hattons Hounds secure paddock in Coventry on Saturday the 20th of April. The Play Field will be booked for 12-1 - for supervised sniffing, playing and socialising, interspersed with periods of rest.

Pick ups and drop-offs will be managed around the number of participants and travel time to the venue.

These socialisation days are not only great fun for your dog, but could really put your mind at rest if you are out and about all day and worry about your dog being home alone for too long.

Cost for this experience is £18, including pick up and drop off to and from your home, travel to the paddock and entry fee, for nearly 2 hours exercise.

🐶Saturday Socials🐶

Coming soon - Saturday Social once a month. This will include:

🐾 Safe transport to and from your house.
🐾 A 2 hour play at a private, secure field.
🐾 Stimulating play with other dogs.
🐾 Happy, tired, content pooches back at home!

Existing clients will receive information about this soon.
If you are not an existing client, and would like your dog to join in Saturday Socials, drop me a message to arrange a meet and greet.

If you’re out for a late night, we can visit your dog in their own house! This means as little disruption to their normal routine as possible. For an hour, we can tend to needs like:
🐾 food
🐾 water
🐾 walk
🐾 toilet
🐾 close curtains/blinds
🐾 lights on/dimmed
🐾 play/toys
🐾 fuss/cuddles

The right amount of exercise for your dog depends on a number of factors, such as their age, medical circumstances and even breed. A good role of thumb, though, is to work on at least 2 X 20 minute walks per day.
