Good luck to all the riders who are taking part in tomorrow’s Dave Day to celebrate the life of hairy biker celebrity chef Dave Myers.
The riders depart from the infamous Ace cafe at 8.am making their way up to daves home town of Barrow in furnace where there will be a festival of music and entertainment plus food and drink to raise funds for charities and to celebrate and remember daves life.

Dave and his wife Liliana became my clients when they brought their rescue westie dougie to me.
He always had a ready smile and a chat whenever I collected dougie.
I hope where ever you are Dave, you know that you will always be remembered.
Safe travels to all the bikers that will be riding in remembrance tomorrow 🐾🐶🥰

Wonder dog grooming is delighted to welcome little Bertie the west highland terrier.
Bertie came to see us for a puppy intro last week at 11 weeks old.
As a westie he faces a lifetime of grooms so to gently introduce puppies to this process just makes it a whole lot easier and less stressful when the pup is familiar with the sounds and smells of baths and blow driers.
We look forward to watching you grow up Bertie ❤️ we shall see you soon 🐾🥰🐶

Merry Christmas to you all!
My heartfelt thanks for all of the wonderful gifts,cards and tips feeling very spoilt.
Gratitude to everyone who continues to use wonder dog grooming and keeping me so busy.
I am now on Christmas break so it’s time to catch up on chores and sleep!
And to spend some quality time with my own fur kids.
I shall in turn be block booking for those of you who have requested this and I shall be sorting this out during this holiday.

The fur kids (and human ones too) love and appreciate everything you do, and a special shout out to my own mum who helps me on very busy days bathing and drying the doggos and makes a cracking cup of tea!

Hello everyone 😊

I’m taking a short break and off to get some sunshine 🌞 I will be back to work as of Tuesday 21st March.
I will as always try to answer any messages while I’m away.

Next availability is now mid April so please do not leave getting booked in till the last moment as I can’t do last minute appointments unless I have a cancellation.

As of April 1st 2023 there will be a price increase on grooms and services, I have been left with no choice as energy bills and product prices have risen.
If you wish to know your new price, do pop me a message before your next appointment.

Just a further reminder that any appointments that are missed or canceled Less than 24hrs prior, will incur a £15 per dog fee before any further appointments will be made, last minute cancellations and forgotten appointments cost me money as I can’t fill that slot and also my fuel and time stood knocking on your door!
If it’s a genuine emergency I get it things happen and can’t be helped.
But please just remember I’m a small business and lost earnings have a big impact.

To hear that one of my dear doggo clients have gone over the rainbow bridge is a downside to this job, it’s especially awful when you have looked after the client for a good number of years and have grown a bond with the dog and a friendship with the owners.
A couple of weeks ago I got the text I had been dreading, it was alberts dad telling me he had passed very quickly and peacefully at home.
He was a fabulous boy and I fell in love with him and his little wife poppy from the first day I met them.
Rip little man I will never forget you❤️
