We’ve supported this charity for 30 years it really is a wonderful charity based in Essex. If you can pop along to this vegan wellness day please do to try some vegan delights - weather looks good, it is an awesome day you get to meet all the animals and you can bring your dogs too!

Our Vegan & Wellness Day is happening THIS Saturday and we can’t wait to eat at all the street food stalls, devour all the baked goods, and buy all the jewellery, art, candles and handcrafted goodies! This family-friendly event is suitable for vegans and non-vegans alike and we just know that the sun is going to shine and the day is going to be full of happiness and smiles. This is Beau, arguably the most famous calf in the UK right now. Beau got rammed by a police car in a bid to catch her and if you’ve seen the appalling footage you will, no doubt, be absolutely horrified by what happened. Beau’s story sadly doesn’t look to have a happy ending though - despite surviving the incident she has since been returned to the farm she escaped from where she faces certain death at a slaughterhouse in the not too distant future. We know that our friends at The Retreat have offered her a home for life, so we’re asking that if you would prefer for Beau to end up as a loved and valued rescued resident at a phenomenal animal sanctuary as opposed to being turned into burgers, please do sign and share this petition. 🫶🫶🫶

Fleur at work checking emails like a boss!

Today I’d like to continue introducing you all to Matilda & Co and to those new followers who would like to get to know the team behind the brand.

We shared Queen Matilda last week, the CEO and top dog and the reason behind the brand. We also introduced you to Leigh my husband and right hand man. Today I’d like you to meet Fleur.

Fleur is only 19 months old and a tiny petite, shy little pup. We called her Fleur as I am a trained florist and provided flowers for brides for 18 years it’s a big part of my life and I absolutely love flowers. It felt fitting that she should be named after Fleur, French for Flower.

Lilac blossom is Fleur’s go to harnie, not only does it come in her size XXS it suits her as it’s the prettiest design of flowers. Blossom and Jacaranda trees weee my inspiration after a visit to Australia.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there especially the dog dads!

This is my husband Leigh who is an amazing dad to our beautiful fur babies. He has a very special bond with Fleur, she adores him and Ruby was the apple of his eye. Tilly as you know can be a bit aloof so she fusses daddy only when it’s time for walks but then drops him at all other times.

Leigh you support me with all we have to deal with, with Tilly’s ivdd and with the numerous pups I want to adopt. You never moan about how much it all costs and I thank you for that. You help endlessly with the dog trade shows and my little business and I couldn’t do it all without you so THANK YOU. You’re an amazing dad to our pups and you’re the biggest dog lover I know and I love that you love and care, and are kind to animals. I am also so pleased for over 20 years you have joined me on a vegan mission. You are the Co in Matilda and the rents in pawrents to our girls. Happy doggie Father’s Day Ledge!

“Fresh as a Daisy” is our pretty but funky floral themed design. One of our design staples - I designed this with Tilly in mind as she’s sassy but a girl and funky but pretty. It’s her go to harness and my favourite floral design. We love the big retro daisies bringing in a sassy floral touch to a Tom boyish grey background. We think it works! And who doesn’t love daisies.

Being a trained floral designer and having worked in the floristry industry now for 18 years I always knew a big part of my design influence would be flowers.

Good morning floofs!

Some of you may know Matilda (Tilly) already. However, we’ve had lots of new follows recently so we thought we’d introduce you to our Queen.

Tilly is the inspiration behind Matilda & Co and not only is she beautiful, sassy and full of character, she’s also my sole dog and a very courageous little lady.

She may not appear on the grid as much as you would expect, but that’s because she was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral disc disease) at 5 years of age, 8 years ago. She’s had 3 major surgeries and many flare ups in that time.

I started Matilda & Co not only to produce beautiful products for our fur babies but also to spread awareness for IVVD, support other pawrents dealing with this cruel illness and to also give back and help animal charities from sales.

Please stop by and give our Queen an hello she really is the boss and is the essence of Matilda & Co 🩷
