She came from a situation where accidental breeding quickly got out of hand, but thankfully, her pregnancy watch is long over and she’s not expecting!

Rosie is a lively little explorer with a curious nature and lots of energy. She enjoys scurrying through her tunnels, foraging in her bedding, and finding something to do that’ll make you laugh.

Rosie is looking for an attentive home with a suitable enclosure, enrichment, and plenty of space to dig and play. If you’re ready to offer a safe, loving environment where she can flourish, Rosie might just be your perfect match.

Every so often, we’re contacted by people who have stepped in to help animals in awful circumstances, whether it’s pets being sold in poor conditions, given away to anyone, or kept in unsuitable homes. First of all, thank you. Your compassion and bravery really does make a difference. 🌟

But we need to be honest too. We always have a waiting list, and for some species, it’s heartbreakingly long. Every space in rescue is precious, and those spaces are often already pledged to animals who have been waiting desperately, sometimes for weeks or even many months.

As much as we’d love to swoop in and say “yes” every time, the reality is we simply can’t create emergency space out of thin air without letting down those already promised a safe place. Like every rescue, we’re running at capacity - balancing record low adoptions, the ongoing care of our sanctuary animals, endless vet trips, and the daily needs of the animals already here.

And the truth is, we never ever want to say no. 💔 But to safeguard our own mental wellbeing, and to make sure the animals already in our care receive the very best from us, sometimes we have no choice.

💬 So if you see an animal in need… please make sure you have space and finances to care for them yourself, or that you’ve already pre-agreed with a rescue that they can take them in. It’s never easy to hear “we can’t,” but the reality is that rescues everywhere are stretched to breaking point.

By working together and planning ahead, we can make sure every animal rescued has somewhere truly safe to go, without overwhelming the very places set up to help them. 🐰🐭🐹🐾

Can you help us with a vet run on Wednesday 1st October?

Collection from DY11 6PH at 8.15am and take to the vets DY11 6DY for 9am.

They will then be saying their for surgery so no need to bring them back.
