4 years ago today I had a 22 hour journey to get from Cyprus to my forever home in the UK. I flew through the air and went under the sea! Emerging from my crate into the darkness and rain with a waggy tail.

4 years of giving my special love to my new family (even to the most annoying little brother in the world who came along after my first year here)

4 years of being told I am the best dog ever!

4 years of on demand belly rubs, a selection of comfy beds and food appearing twice a day in my very own bowl. Plus pigs ears, don’t forget the pigs ears.

4 years attempting to train Mum & Dad out and about. They are still a work in progress 🙈 but loved beyond measure nevertheless.

Is my birthday today and now I am 5!!

Celebrated with a morning Mantrailing which I LOVE. Mum made me wear a silly hat before I could have my cake and there was even a solar eclipse for my special day!

Very proud to have achieved my Level 1 Bronze Urban certificate today too. Had a nice lie down in the garden for some birthday belly rubs and been having a lovely long sleep in my brother Arlo's crate ever since.

I am the best dog ever, according to my Mum and Dad who are so thankful to LJ Ashton and Apollo's Angels for trusting them with me.

Well Nova fans, I've been here 3 whole years today! The weather is much the same as when I arrived 🌧️ ☔ so it definitely feels like home.

I've been really busy doing things I enjoy, demanding belly and neck rubs, eating as much as I can and sleeping. I go to daycare once a week and have even made some friends there. Mum has taken me to man trailing, Barkour and gun dog games training - I love having a job and we're just starting canitrek.

I am frequently told I am beautiful, the best dog in the world and just an all round nice person.

Don't shop adopt! Rehoming Cyprus Pointers do a fantastic job of helping dogs like me and my ever annoying brother Arlo.

Today Mummy whistled for me from the far side of the field, where I was busy hunting for mices in the long grass.

I knew she had 🐔 so I came toot sweet at the gallop.She was v pleased as my recall has always been 'a work in progress' whatever that is.

Unfortunately my little twit of a brother Arlo decided to ambush me and I did an impressive roll/skid and face plant in the mud.

We stopped for McD chicken nuggets on the way home, to help us get used to being in our new charabanc.

No apparent damage but now I'm doing what I do best to decompress .... sleepings 😴 😴

I may have been a useless, unloved dog in Cyprus but I'm nailing mantrailing, gundog games and barkour with my Mum as if I was born to it. My recall is much much better but still not 100% reliable tho I love having a job to do, am pretty good at finding toys by name now. As long as, I feel like it 😂 Working on finding 'remote' and 'phone' now.

Scrummy food rewards, lots of people to wag my tail at and give me belly rubs, I'm definitely loved to bits here

Happy Sunday Nova fans!

Lovely walk this morning along the canal, Mum wanted pics of the wild garlic but I had an agenda of my own. Mum got her pics and I got a shoulder full of otter poo 💩

Mum must love me as she got me a Scoops doggy ice cream on the way back.
