New friends were made today, so we all went to the fabulous Furever Freed Dog Field to do so in a safe environment 🎈
Oscar has checked in for a long weekend break. Monty & Griff for a week long holiday. Buddy is also staying for a whole week! And a big welcome to baby boy Presley, the 7 month old Italian Spinone 🤎 He is staying for a quick 2 Nighter to see how he likes it, before some bigger holidays. So far, so good, he says!

We now have a hose with a spray head to wash your wellies and your doggies off and a water bowl (the water is drinking water), please empty after use.
We also have a dog poo bin, we must request that you use biodegradable poo bags, if you don’t have any with you at the time, please can you take the poo home with you.

As the daylight hours are starting to pull out we have extended our opening hours until 5.30pm.
As it continues to extend we will be able to open until 7pm.
7pm is the latest Cornwall council will allow us to open.

Also, we’ve found that some people are leaving poo in the field. Please can we ask for you to pick it up. I know we don’t currently have a bin there but we are in the process of making this happen. If you have forgotten your poo bags please just drop me a message or give me a call as I have some at my house. We really want this to be a nice place for everyone to enjoy and really don’t want it ruined because of poo being left by others.

Dog Field available from: 8am–4pm, 7 days a week
Hello fellow doggie owners, thank you to all our new customers that have already been to use the field. We’ve had lots of lovely feedback.
I’ve just had chance to go up to the dog field for the first time in 3 days after being poorly and wanted to share a video of the shelter we’ve made for you all.
But I was a little saddened as I wasn’t quite expecting mud all over the sofas. I do understand that it is difficult at this time of year when the field is muddy to keep it clean and when dogs are used to going on the sofas at home they’ll see no difference.
But our idea was the field is there for the dogs and the the shelter is there for humans. We’ve made it nice and dry so that families could bring their children to play somewhere dry whilst another grown up runs the dogs, which is why there are toys in there. Obviously the floor is now too filthy for the children to play on so we are going to have to make it as a human only shelter as dogs are fine in the rain.
When it’s drier it’ll be fine for the dogs to go into but whilst it’s so muddy up there we’ll have to make this decision to make the shelter a human only area.
We are going to put a pet gate in front of the door so that you can be in the shelter but still see you dog in the field.
I hope this clears things up, we’re open to suggestions being new so if anyone can think of other ways of stopping this problem please let us know ☺️
