If you have any questions about your pet's need for treatment or a specific aspect of our service, please call the practice or email us. We offer a complete veterinary service for small and domestic pets. We have a cat only waiting area at the lower end of the waiting room. The dedicated area, allows cats to wait in a quiet, dog free zone to help them relax. so your cat will be far less anxious. T
here are dedicated cat accessory display units to allow owners to indulge their feline friends! However this doesn't mean that we don't love seeing all of our doggy clients! The separate areas benefit the dogs too as they can quite often be either scared or overexcited by visiting the vets as well as cats. We are looking after 2 dogs that were found at the BP garage, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove this morning. They are both well but microchip details not up to date. Please get in touch on 01527 831616 if you are missing your pet. Proof of owner ship required. We will be contacting the dog warden at lunchtime to collect them.

We are very saddened to announce that our dear Bromsgrove receptionist Jennie Archer passed away last month.
Tomorrow (Wednesday 29th May) is Jennie's funeral and most of the staff will be in attendance to bid her a fond farewell.
Our practices will be closed between 10.30am - 3.00pm.

Vet Jo is embarking on a fundraising challenge for November, walking 50 miles over the course of the month with her pooch Kiwi (and some help from husband Chris). Jo's lovely mum has volunteered for the Samaritans for many years and with mental health being such a big concern in the veterinary profession at the moment, Jo was really keen to do something to help. This is Topeka who belongs to vet Rebekah. She is 13 years old and is missing a few teeth and has never been able to mew. She loves snuggles on her terms and rules the roost. She tells off her brother and keeps the dog in his place!
We have a few more days left of Senior September. Call the practice for a health and urine check with one of our nurses. For cats10 years plus and dogs 8 years plus.
Another Senior for September is Inca. She belongs to PCA Molly and is nearly 11 years old.
She loves her food and snuggles with her 2 daughters who never left home!
She is suffering from arthritis in her older years but doesn't let it stop her enjoying a leisurely walk or leaping onto the sofa.

This is Jojo (right) and Mojo (left) They are 10 and 9 years old, are mother and daughter and belong to vet June.
They love their food and cuddling eachother to sleep 😴
This is Charlie, he is an 11 year old border collie belonging to PCA Alice. He suffers from severe arthritis but with a senior diet to help maintain a healthy weight, daily pain relief and monthly librela injections, he is still able to enjoy his walks and a good swim.

Even though Minstrel HATES the vets she knows the importance of keeping healthy. She wants to encourage all of her feline friends to attend Senior September to receive their complimentary health, urine and blood pressure check from the nurse. Minstrel is 12 years old and belongs to head vet Will Trewarman. She rules the house, kitten, dog and children with an iron fist. Occasionally accepts tribute in the form of dreamies and strokes.
Our mature friends have been rolling in for Senior September!

Today we have a lovely photo of Sam. He belongs to receptionist Sandra and is a very loved member of the family. Sam is a springer cross Patterdale, 11 years old and although he is on treatment for his itchy skin and supplements for his liver, he is loving his life. He enjoys his off lead time, meeting other dogs and playing with a ball.
This is Fleur, she has just turned 16 years old and is owned by our receptionist Marie. Fleur is a small little cat who still thinks she is a kitten. She loves her dreamies and will not let Marie forget to put them in her penguin so she can play with it to get them out.

Calling all cats over 10 years and dogs over 8 years. Book an appointment with the nurse at Bromsgrove, Rubery or Droitwich and receive a complimentary health and urine check plus helpful advice on caring for an older pet. We also have a 25% discount on needle biopsies if required for testing lumps.
Here is Jack. He is 14 years old and suffers from osteoarthritis. Jack receives monthly injections of a monoclonal antibody called Librela. This works by neutralising a protein that stimulates pain enabling Jack to carry on having good quality of life during his golden years. Good news for cats, they have their own special version called Solensia.

During September we are offering complimentary nurse checks for cats 10 years plus and dogs 8 years plus. We will give helpful advice on the common senior conditions and this will include a urine dipstick and for cats we will include a blood pressure check. We will also be offering a 25% discount on fine needle samples taken from suspicious skin lumps.
