If you have any questions about your pet's need for treatment or a specific aspect of our service, please call the practice or email us. We offer a complete veterinary service for small and domestic pets. We have a cat only waiting area at the lower end of the waiting room. The dedicated area, allows cats to wait in a quiet, dog free zone to help them relax. so your cat will be far less anxious. T

here are dedicated cat accessory display units to allow owners to indulge their feline friends! However this doesn't mean that we don't love seeing all of our doggy clients! The separate areas benefit the dogs too as they can quite often be either scared or overexcited by visiting the vets as well as cats. The practice provides a full range of services at Bromsgrove, in a modern hospital standard centre and branch centres in Rubery and Droitwich. Consultations

We are extremely proud to announce that Abbie Durkin and Grace Harvey have recently passed all of their exams and have become Registered Veterinary Nurses. Here is Abbie displaying a lovely smile along with her certificate and badge after receiving them from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The RVN badge features Saint Francis of Assisi who is the patron saint of animals. We wish them both the very best in their careers and look forward to continue working with them at Townsend. Congratulations both, you have worked very hard 🎊 👏

Typically you would only pay a fee or first registering your pet or if you contact the company to update your details .

We are looking after 2 dogs that were found at the BP garage, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove this morning. They are both well but microchip details not up to date. We are very saddened to announce that our dear Bromsgrove receptionist Jennie Archer passed away last month.
Tomorrow (Wednesday 29th May) is Jennie's funeral and most of the staff will be in attendance to bid her a fond farewell.
Our practices will be closed between 10.30am - 3.00pm.
Bromsgrove will be available for emergencies only on 01527 831616.

This little beauty is leaving us today!!! As sad as we are to see her and little Lenny (gems dog) go, we are also super proud and excited for her as she embarks on this next venture.. she is one awesome hooman, her new place is lucky to have her … wishing her all the luck in the world… thanks Gem for everything…

Welcome to Townsend Veterinary Practice. Established in 1965, we are located in the Worcestershire area with practice branches located at Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Rubery. At Townsend Veterinary Practice we provide a wide range of veterinary services for your pet and take great pride in our high standard of clinical care and excellent customer service. The Bromsgrove practice provides a full range of services in a modern hospital standard setting. We invite you to call into our practices to meet our friendly front of house team who can deal with new client registrations or to give you some practice information. Our waiting room at Bromsgrove has been carefully designed to accommodate separate waiting areas for your pets as we know how anxious a trip to the vets can be. With this in mind, we have a cat only ISFM silver award standard waiting area to make our feline patients feel more relaxed as well as a dedicated dog and a small animal waiting area.

We currently have 3 of our veterinary surgeons undertaking further education to earn certificates in Behaviour, Soft Tissue Surgery and Ophthalmology.
