Mum needs help, apparently she is fed up of my hair which is all over the back car seat cover I have making it’s way into the rest of the car.

When she gets in the car my hair goes everywhere but when she takes out to clean it she can’t get it off the cover 🤦🏼‍♀️. Well I did tell her not to buy cheap I am planning to be around for a long time 🐶.

Can anyone recommend a back seat cover which will protect the seats and when it is taken out of car can be clean, ie the hairs don’t attach to it like Velcro? Mum does not want to buy another one until she has had some expert advice from my extended doggy family.

Good news I did let mum brush me yesterday and I feel like half a dog 😂

Happy Birthday to my Brother and sisters, I got a new toy, mum & Izzy gave me a BiG treat of some ice cream in a cone with a biscuit, 1st time I have had ice cream and I really liked it 🐶

Help My mum is mean to me, she made me go out in the torrential rain, and she could not find my coat. She then made me run (she is not good at this running business, don’t tell her I said so) not as far as we normally go, thank goodness as she could not see a thing through her glasses.

I did make her stop a few times to speak to my doggy friends to complain about the weather (trying to be more British).

She his rub me down and give me yummy breakfast and wrap me up on my bed, so that was nice of her

Well I did it again 🤦🏼‍♀️ lasts week I rolled in a dead toad/frog, this week a dead bird, again at the end of our walk on the beach.

My humans were so please with me, as my recall had been so excellent but as we were about to leave the beach I thought I would sniff something out to make her really proud and then roll around on it. It smelt so good, I think these humans nose’s are defective, they think it stinks and they are worried as dead birds can have horrible diseases.

So guess what another wash for me, I don’t like it as the nice smell I worked hard to find gets replaced with a smell the humans like, but I am not so sure about but I will put up with it if I get lots of cuddles.

I am going to dry of on my cozy bed and keep out of the humans way, hope all my dog brother and sister are having a good weekend

Had a great walk this morning I was so good my recall was a 100% we were on the beach and in a stubble field. BUT………..

Then I spoilt it by rolling in a dead frog so Mum says I need a bath, big sister does not want to hug me on the way home in the car, I don’t know why, I think I smell great. I hate baths 😕

Happy Gotcha day to Popcorn found my forever home can’t believe it has been a year since we picked you up at Gretnagreen service station in thick fog.

It has flown by. We love you to bits, you keep us on our toes constantly make us laugh.l, we are all still learning, recall is improving, to have nailed sit and lie down if there is a treat involved 😂

My new bed arrived I loooove it means I am allowed to sit on the sofa, I have finally worn the humans down 🎉😂 I can now see all entrances and exits to the family room, with a great view out the doors to watch the birds in the garden (dog version of TV) Zoe Brodie

Summer Holidays - Adventure on Loch Ness on a boat.

We were supposed to go for 5 days, but my human sister brought Covid 19 home from the last days of school which made everyone sick, first Izzy then Mum the Dad. Mum was very brave and still
walk me in the morning but she would come home and fall sleep on the sofa for ages. I would keep an eye on her (sometimes sneaking up in the sofa for a nap myself)

We were lucky the boat company had a weekend slot so off we went. I was given the really warm harness to wear it kept me nice and toasty (life jacket). My dads mum and dad joined us, they are great so that was exciting.

I was really brave getting on the boat and I really enjoyed watching out for the Loch Ness monster. My crate just about fitted in the living room it was nice an cozy, but during the day I had my cozy blanket on a sofa, I persuaded the humans it was a good idea as they then would not trip over me, see I am a cleaver dog.

There was a incident, dad took me for a walk up a really big hill, and I found this great smelly stuff and I took the opportunity to wear it (mega cow pat🐄) when dad was not paying attention as he was trying to take a picture of mum and Izzy on the paddle board. He was not happy.

Mum cleaned me up as she was all wet. We did not have my normal shampoo so I had to use hers, it smelt really nice. But I did not like the all fresco shower with cold water.

Once we gave the boat back, we then visited my other grandparents, Izzy and I had a cuddle and nap on the sofa, don’t tell my Yaya (Grandma) she won’t be happy.

Went on a big walk today with the humans and we came across a load of really big dogs in the field. They came up to say hello, they don’t woof the go moo, very strange!!!

I have seen these dogs before but never up close like today. I was very good and stayed by mum and my human sister while we said hello.

Mum was very proud as I was very calm and did not bark they seemed quite friendly but mum said that we are not to go in the field when they or any animals are there because they might be scared of me and they don’t like to play. Mum is usually right so we will just say hello from the other side of the gate.

I went to my favourite place to watch my human sister walk on water. It’s great lots of green space I can roam around and then there are woods which are amazing, so much to see and smell. I just love it here, I even had a paddle in the water.

Mum was especially proud of me, we have been doing lots of recall practice on the long lead and she says I doing really well, we both just need to keep up the practice and have fun.

Feeling pleased with myself, my human mummy said it was time for a Bath as I had a nice roll in some 🐈‍⬛ poo, mum was not please!!! So I had to have a shower. She made a fatal mistake she let me out into the garden afterwards and I stared digging my hole under Izzy trampoline 😂😂 so I have nice muddy 🐾. Mum not please again!!!!!!!!! Zoe Brodie

Not the best at posting on Kendal aka Popcorn but here are some pictures of her 6 months with us. I will try and do better. 😊

She is the funniest dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning, She makes me smile and laugh most of the time. She has fitted into our slight crazy family so so well, and she definitely has grown into her new name of Popcorn, as she has endless energy and silly little habits. We love her so so much

Oh I have had a busy week, I have been out in the car, we went to beach which was great fun, mummy kept saying how brave and well behaved I was.

I met my dog Aunty she is also a Cyprus rescue she is a older lady who seems very grown up and sensible to me, hopefully when we go on a proper walk I will so her how to have some fun.

Then we have been slowly getting used to walk where the cars go by. I was a bit frightened at first but I am slowly getting used to them mummy gives me lots of praise and reassurance. I have walked Izzy to school 3 mornings, I am very proud of myself, lots of mummy’s friends stop us and ask about me. I think she likes to show me off 😂

Today we went to this strange places where lots of people were in funny suits (wetsuits) and climbing over water and then others were in the water including Daddy and Izzy with a funny board attached to their feet. It’s called wakeboarding but I just wanted to go for a swim, but wasn’t allowed but I did like all the smells and there as there are lots of doggy friends to talk to and a big space I can run on my long lead.

Then we went to the harbour so the humans could get fish and chips, but they forgot my food 🤦🏼‍♀️ so mummy, daddy & Izzy ate their food nearly as quickly as I do. While I was waiting for them lots of people were telling me how lovely and well behaved I am, they are so surprised that I have only been in Scotland for 2 weeks. Then on the way home had a nap & cuddle with Izzy in the car.

After a very long journey, I finally made it home, I settled really well in the car, I really enjoyed having my ears tickled. It was very foggy and we had to drive very slowly. When I arrived it was a bit chilly, I had a good sniff around and had some chicken and rice, then went for a big sleep in my cozy crate/den.

Since then I have been exploring what the humans call the garden, there is this green spongy green stuff which I was not too sure about, but it seems ok it tickles my feet, my human dad calls it “grass”but my human mum laughs 😂 and says “mmm more like glover and moss”

I like my cuddles and I have a new friend who only moves when I take him for a walk and only talks/squeaks when I squish his tummy.

I think I like it here I get very excited when I see the humans.

Hope all my friends from Cyprus are doing well, thank you everyone at Apollo Angels for everything you do for us puppies & dogs to help find our forever homes. 💕💕🐶🐕 Mum also says a big thank you to all those at Apollo Angels and the wider team to helps bring puppies/doggies to their forever homes. 💕

Only 1 and a bit sleeps till Kendal (Popcorn) arrives. 2am drop off Sunday/Monday I think we have everything ready. Very excited 😊
