It's official, I have melted! Thank you to all my customers for understanding with the change in routine and offering me cold drinks and ice lollies to keep me going. I'm currently chilling with Milo and having an ice lolly to cool down 🥵

If your dog has a favourite treat/snack why not put it in the freezer for a cold treat. In this weather it will be refreshing and help in keeping them cool, it's not going to be any major cooling treatment but will help whilst the temperatures are high.

Hi everyone, due a family medical emergency that happened this weekend, I will be closed tomorrow (Monday 11th March) for walks. I can happily say both my parents are actually fighting fit this time. Really sorry for letting people down but I'm sure you'll understand that I have to put family first in this situation.

I will be in contact with customers in due course when I have more of an update to give.

Do any of my amazing customers have a spare towel or dog blanket they would be willing to donate? A fellow dog walker is trying to get donations for Babbington Dog Rescue and Kennels, and I would love to help them make a bigger donation to all the animals that are waiting for their furever home and keep them warm this Christmas. They will be making the donation on 3rd December. I can collect or arrange collection. Thank you for reading ❤️

Before the hectic weekend of fireworks start. Please take 2 minutes to check your cats and dogs microchip details are upto date. There are several organisations you can call upon should your dog get spooked. I will list them on another post.

Where you can, create a safe place for them. Either set up a space under the stairs, or create a den behind the sofa or using a dog crate somewhere they can hide. Place their toys, blankets and/or a piece of clothing that you've worn in there as comfort. Try not to leave them alone, they won't understand what's happening and seeing you and hearing you talking to them will help bring them comfort. It won't seem like it at the time but all these things will help your pets through the next few stressful nights.

Use the TV or radio to drown out the outside noise (be careful not to deafen yourselves!)

I will also be posting about firework events so you can prepare the best you can.
