We do not have very many home offers for our hens .. this weekend or next 😢 .. I have asked the farmer for an extension of time but he has said no 😢 So these lovely little hens only have 7 more days alive , if we don’t find more homes for them 😞😞

The kitty cottage is full

Due to the insane amount of kittens that have been coming into the shelter in recent weeks we are completely full to the brim. We currently have over 50 kittens in the shelter and out in foster.

Our usual TNR service is running approximately 3 weeks behind in some areas so please be patient while we try to get out to as many of you as possible. We have a limited number of volunteer trappers who also work full time jobs.

At this point in time we are unable to take in anymore kittens until some of the ones we have become old enough to leave the shelter for adoption so please be patient and wait for your call back when we have room.

If you are looking to adopt a kitten we run a weekly kitty cottage adoption day out at the shelter in Athgarvan on a Saturday between 12-3pm.

Adoption requires a €100 fee which includes vaccination, spay/neuter, microchip and worm and flea treatment.
