🍓Yesterday we went strawberry picking at . Although Quinn was more interested in the collecting tub than the strawberry picking itself 😂 We had a lovely afternoon picking and eating cakes in the cafe. I have been after a nice baked cheesecake for soooo long and theirs was spot on 😋 There were also some ducklings outside too, very cute 🦆 An all round top notch trip - highly recommended.

We planned to take Steve the Strawberry 🍓 for a little photoshoot in his natural habitat but forgot him 🫣 so I’ve photoshopped him in, I don’t think you can tell 😂

Hello 👋 I’m Lydia

My husband and I own Eco Pet Parcel. The little lady is Quinn Cataleya (or QC/Quality Control 😂). She oversees things and makes sure we’re doing a good job (👏 she has just learnt how to clap so she is approving everything enthusiastically 😂). Eco Pet Parcel headquarters is also our home, we send parcels full of love from our home to yours 🏡💚

📚 The story of where our name came from…

Cast your mind back 4️⃣ years…

Some of you will remember that the shop started off as a part of our pet services business. Naturally, its name became the Happy Waggers and Sleepy Whiskers shop, but this was too long and didn’t paint a picture of what we’re all about.

Our customers agreed our name needed to represent our values. We needed something related to being eco-friendly and something obviously to do with pets. But we also needed something to do with making parcels, as the way we present our products in eco-friendly packaging is also very important to us. Every parcel we create is packed thoughtfully with a handwritten note 📝❤️ because your pet deserves a special experience 💖

It took a really long time to settle on a name and I really wanted toe beans to be involved 🐾😂 but in the end we had a vote and Eco Pet Parcel was created 💚

We’re back!! 😁

We had the most amazing time making memories in Tenby and Saundersfoot, we saw the northern lights and Quinn did a lot of giggling on the beach 🏖️😂 I’ll share some more pics over the next few days 💖

Although it’s sad the holiday has come to an end it is always nice to come home 🏡❤️

Happy 9️⃣0️⃣th Birthday Grandma! 🎉

Yesterday was my Grandma’s 90th Birthday. Although she didn’t want reminding of her age (haha!) we celebrated with cake and flowers 🎂💐 She was more interested in baby Quinn than any of her gifts 👶 Big birthdays, well any birthdays really, always bring back memories.

Which brings me to what I’ve been working on, a new section of the website which contains products which are broken or are past their best before dates. As I pondered over what to call the new section I heard my Grandma’s voice in my head “Waste not, want not”. And so the nostalgic “Waste not, want not” section was born 💚

Now we’re even more eco-friendly - hurrah! 🌍 These products are heavily reduced so I don’t imagine they will be around for long. I will continue to add to this section as appropriate products become available. Check it out on the website now! 💚

I wasn’t going to share this… 🫣

As a small business it’s hard to get the balance right. You want all of your products fully stocked all of the time, but to not have stock sat taking up space when it’s not selling. Some of our new followers may not be aware that we run Eco Pet Parcel from a room in our home. Anyway I digress, the opposite can also occur a couple of customers can come along, order BIG of one particular product and completely wipe out our stock.

This is why advertising one of our best selling treats as back in stock is a dangerous game. However, I’m confident that we’ve ordered enough that this won’t be the case so I’m going to share with you -

“Fruit & Veg Straws are back in stock and on their way to our shelves!” (parcels containing them will be dispatched on Friday 26th)
