2021 National Lockdown

The official announcement from the government under the category business that can remain open is :

Animal Rescue centres, Boarding facilities and Animal Groomer (may be used for Animal welfare , rather than aesthetic purposes),

The word wefare is so open to interpretation it has left Groomers in confusion. Some may think welfare is regularly grooms while others would say it would be emergencies only.

Therefore I am closing unless the general health of your dog is affected. I will contact all customers individually to discuss this .

If anyone has any questions or needs advice regarding maintaining there dogs coat please contact me.

I feel closing will support my community and the NHS as we all need to stay at home and I want this to be over sooner than later.

It's been one year ago since I completed my training in the lovely Salon in Wandsworth. I love doing the dog grooming and having Betty Bow Wow. Thanks to all you lovely customers for your support and the local dog groomers Sue and Ann . This is one of the most enjoyable and tiring things I have done . I hope Betty would be proud ###

Groomed the lovely Buddy today. I have found lots of grass seeds in dogs pads and between there toes. They can go into the skin and cause infection. They are difficult to see if the feet and pads are hairy . Buddy didn't have any ### ♡

I've groomed some lovely dogs this week. It's been so long since they have been able to have a haircut . They have all been very patient with me throughout there groom as they have all taken a bit longer. I hope they all feel a bit cooler now ###x

It was lovely to have Buddy back today. I have opened. I have special measures in place and social distancing to keep you myself and you and your dog safe.
I will contact customers but please feel free to call . I cannot do as many dogs in one day due to all the special precautions in place and cleaning. I will try and do the dogs first that are getting uncomfortable and in most need.
It's so great to be back . I look forward to seeing all your lovely woofs. Thank you all for your support . Stay safe ###

With a heavy heart Betty Bow Wow will be temporary closed . This is a sad decision as I have had amazing support since opening. I will contact customers induvidually. I have to be responsible and ensure people do not leave there homes unless it is totally necessary. Hopefully when all this virus is under control you will bring your dog's back and I will not change for extra for matting.
I will do some follow posts on how you can brush Your dog and what brushes to use and sprays to help reduce mats.

Groomed this lovely woof Lilly who is being rehomed by Many Tears Animal Rescue. She is in foster locally. She is adorable and her details are on there website. This rescue centre is close to my heart as it's where my Bertie came from . ###
