Poor Arnold!

Further to our previous post, his infection eye turned out to be eyelid entropian (a condition where the eyelid turns inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against the surface of the eye).

However he's been booked in for entropian surgery, and will hopefully be feeling right as rain and ready for his forever home soon after.

On Friday Kim & Clive took Rupert to his new home.

He's gone to live at a fish farm where the 🐀 have taken over, eating thousands of pounds worth of specialist food.

Once he's settled in, we'll be looking for some more felines to join him.

He has the option to move in to the family home if he chooses, so watch this space!

Remember Elinor and her boy McGuffin?

Sadly this kitten had been left outside, unlike his litter mates, so missed out on his essential socialisation period.

Mum Elinor would accept you being around but reluctant to be touched or approached.

We spent quite some time trying to decide what sort of home would be best for them, and it looks like we made the right decision!

After 4 weeks acclimatising, they're both now exploring their new surroundings, and have the choice whether to interact with humans or not.

If you’re an early bird and fancy grabbing bargains at the crack of dawn, then we’re open from 8-10am for a mere £2 entry, after 10am is free. Thousands of items available so don’t worry, there will be lots available all day 🛍️

St Mags Church on Union Street will be our venue and they have kindly allocated us free parking all day. We will decorate it so bring your Christmas joy and we’ll bring the spirit! (Not the alcoholic type 😹)

The icing on the cake will be our legendary tombola- and the prizes this time are off the charts! Just £1 per go!
