So proud of 6yo DALGAN MATCH yesterday at another dressage outing. A little cheeky in the prelim for 67%+ and then a really lovely test, in only his second novice, for 68%+. Ended the day 3rd in both classes. It just makes me so proud to watch his improvement in each test he does. Still hard to believe he’s done only 8 tests in his life and makes them feel as easy as he does!

Last week we waved our gorgeous little Teddy off to his new home. Such a special little pony who will be missed by us all. He’s settled into his new home well and has already been out competing winning his class today!! An exciting future ahead for this pony ❤️

So proud of rising 6yo DALGAN MATCH yesterday, in his first competition of the year. He did two super tests for 68%+ in Prelim 15 and 1st and 65%+ in Novice 22 for 2nd. So pleased as this was his first ever attempt at a novice test and he’s still a little green in some of the movements. He just continues to make me smile 🥰

Rising 5yo MENLO TINA WINGS really starting to get to grips with his flatwork after his winter break. Still lots more to come from this boy but heading in the right direction! Keep your eyes peeled for his advert in the coming weeks!

No saddle, no problem! Having a little bit of a play with Chase yesterday…. Nothing like riding a big baby pony ba****ck in the wind!! Sadly he can’t have a girth on at the moment so finding alternative ways to exercise him! But he was as good as gold, and with a canter to die for 🥰

Another day another jumping exercise for rising 6yo DALGAN MATCH. And once again he smashes it, popping over it effortlessly. Makes me so proud seeing how much he has improved over the winter months…. He’s really starting to get the hang of this jumping malarkey now!! Such exciting things to come for this boy!!

Rising 6yo DALGAN MATCH having a little jump today. Working on bending lines and ride ability to the fence. Hopefully won’t be long before he gets out and about again, as he’s feeling awesome at the minute!!

Oh Moo Moo you never fail to make me smile. Rising 6yo DALGAN MATCH has impressed me so much recently, I’ve tried lots of different jumping exercises and he just pops through each one with ease. Today he popped through four angled uprights in pretty much a dead straight line. I’m so excited about this boy!!

Back on board rising 5yo MENLO TINA WINGS this morning after his winter break. After nearly 2 months in the field, to just be able to hop back on this boy with no problems makes me so proud of him!! Now time to get cracking ready to get some competitions under his belt before he’s sold in the coming months!

We are a small family yard based in Dymock looking for some support to our head girl. Preferable good experience of handling competition horses and working independently. Initially we require someone to muck out, turn out, feed and general care for horses.
Ideally someone with good initiative and attention to detail.
We offer a lovely working environment with horses housed in indoor barn and excellent rates of pay.

Hours are flexible and can be as little as one day per week.

A little 2022 round up. So proud of what we have achieved this year with all the horses here at Old Rock. There have been some days tougher than others but boy have these horses brought us such joy throughout the year.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported through 2022. We can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!!

He just makes me so happy 🥰 A great day out with 5yo DALGAN MATCH today at Prestige. A couple of poles in both the 80cm and 90cm but I can see so much improvement in his way of going. Now time for some more strengthening over the winter months to smash 2023!

The Lovely Larry doing his rehab stretches this morning. He holds each stretch for five seconds and we do each five times. We then went long lining round the fields in the sunshine.
