Meet Max the Springador who was in desperate need of a good deshed! Today Max had two deshed shampoos followed by a deshed mudbath because he was VERY hairy and his mums Hoover was screaming 😂 for extra measure we went over Max with the coat tender and look how much still came off!

I have been waiting to get my hands on the Coat Tender carding tools for a while. It’s a complete game changer 👌🏼

Fun fact; I used to be neighbours and work on Lundy Island with some of Skyes human family! A total coincidence - such a small world 😂

I flipping love Schnauzers, especially big gorgeous boys like Hugo 😍 Last October Hugo came for his first puppy session with me and a year on, here he is after a big handstripping session! I cannot believe how much Hugo has grown in literally ONE YEAR 😳🐶

Thank you all for your patience, kindness and understanding whilst I had to take some unexpected time off. Although I am back at work full time I am still taking things slowly. I hope to get back to all messages by the end of tomorrow ☺️

OPEN DAY: Tomorrow @ 2pm 🥳

I’ve been running around like a headless chicken getting the new salon ready but it is finally coming together ready for tomorrow! It has been hard work and very stressful but oh so worth it!

I cannot wait to welcome you all to our new upgraded and spacious salon tomorrow 💛 Please come and join us for some bubbles and treats both human & doggie 🐶

🎉 Exciting Announcement! 🐾

I am thrilled to share that Central Bark Dog Grooming is moving to a brand new location! Our new address will be 1 Market Place Pewsey.

I cannot wait to welcome you and your furry friends to the new upgraded and spacious salon.

Some highlights of our new location:
- Convenient parking options
- State-of-the-art grooming facilities with a separate bathing & drying room
- Expanded reception/waiting area with retail space
- No more direct sunlight warming up the salon which means I will no longer have to close the salon early during the summer heatwaves
- Growing the team, hiring a grooming apprentice and a part time receptionist

To celebrate the move, I will be hosting an open day on Sunday 1st September where you can tour the new salon and enjoy some special treats for you and your pups!

With the transition to our new premises, we may need to reschedule appointments to ensure a smooth and seamless relocation process; appointments booked during the last week of August and the beginning of September are subject to change. I will be in contact with those who will need to reschedule during this transition. All appointments booked after August will take place at the new location. If you have any questions or need to reschedule, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Central Bark family. I have worked hard over the last four years to build Central Bark and I cannot wait to pamper your furry friends at our new location!

The dog grooming industry has lost a young and talented dog groomer who was needlessly murdered alongside her sister and mother. The dog grooming community is large but we all support one another and all feel this senseless loss 💗

Our thoughts and hearts are with the Hunt family at this terrible and tragic time ###

Meet Evie who had her first big girl groom this afternoon 💗

Evie has been coming for regular puppy sessions to slowly, gently and positively introduce Evie to the grooming process. Evie has been a very confident and happy puppy in the salon for each of her visits and today she was an absolute super star for her first groom 🥰

✨The BEST day ✨

Today I competed with the beautiful Border Terrier Rhubarb in the Open Handstrip group at The South East Grooming Show! I never thought we would place let alone win TWO awards!

✨ “Best Technique” ~ One of four special awards across all competitors in the morning classes!

Today was an absolute dream and a lot of fun!
The last time I stepped into a grooming competition ring was 9 years ago. I think I may have got my grooming competition mojo back 🫶🏼

Rhubarb was a pleasure to groom today, stealing so many hearts and really rocking her socks off. She spent the rest of the competition either bouncing around playing with the poodles 🐩 or being carried around in our arms fast asleep 😂 A huge thank you to Lucy & Dave for letting me take her away for the weekend 💗

Meet the lovely Show Cocker Winnie who I had the pleasure of giving her very first full groom this afternoon 🥰 And what a difference! Winnie looks like a completely different dog compared to when she arrived 🐶🐾

I’m looking forward to seeing Winnie again in 8 weeks for her next groom!

I cannot believe how much Hugo has grown in the last 4 months! Hugo’s owners booked Hugo onto our Puppy Package because they knew Hugo is going to have lots of visits to the groomer and wanted it to be a positive and good experience for him! Well Hugo smashed the puppy package and is an absolute angel to groom! If you’ve recently got a puppy or thinking about getting one please enquire about our puppy package! ✨Chet Update✨ In December Chet’s owners said that since Chet likes to send me hate mail all year round it’s only fair that I can do WHATEVER I wanted for Chet’s Christmas groom… so I give you Chet with a MULLET 🐶
