1954 Photo of Dog security at Macy's NYC. As late as 1998, Doberman Pinschers were patrolling Macy’s 2 million square feet of retail space from the sub-sub-basement to the 11th floor. At that time, there are 2,600 guard dogs in the city, and four of them were the Dobermans who spent their days sleeping in the rooftop atop Macy’s on 34th street. Once the customers left, the dogs would prowl the aisles at night, inspecting shipping bays, looking under counters, and critiquing the latest fashions. Each dog was taken out on a leash, but at certain points, they were released and told to “search.” They were on the look out for burglars and thieves, stragglers caught after hours, and indications of fire or water leakage. One time, two young girls were reported missing and traced to Macy’s enormous store. They were found by a Doberman guard dog who, to the surprise of his handler, licked the girls’ hands to put them at ease.

As I have previously written genetic tests are not reliable yet. Don't fall for commercials like DCM free with a two year old male. Read this as at the age of two years the symptoms of DCM have not yet been detected. My dear ones, buy puppies from older parents who have been tested every year on ECG for 24 hours. Good luck to you! Once a doberman, always a doberman.

LOST/ ABANDONED DOG FOUND

This Doberman was found in kharegaon, kalwa.
He's around 4.5 years old.

He had a 2-3 weeks old maggot wound on his right hind leg and one 3/4 day old maggot wound on right elbow.
There is constant discharge from his eyes.

Identification mark: He had an orangish-red colour with a red Rakhi tied on it.
