ANTIBIOTIC AMNESTY 2024 💊
Team Rosemullion are taking part in the 2024 Antibiotic Amnesty!
Throughout November we are asking pet owners to return any unused or leftover antibiotic medications to us for safe disposal. Please drop off any unused medications to us at the practice. You can hand them in to a vet, nurse or the reception team.
This medication might be left-over from a recent prescription, antibiotics that you didn't need or out-of-date medication.
Let's keep antibiotics working, together! 💚

♥️ OZZIE REUNITED ♥️
Little Ozzie found himself in our care last week after 3 weeks missing on the Lizard peninsula!! Here he is being reunited with his owner, Ingrid on Saturday ✨
Thanks to the amazing efforts of Dogs Lost Cornwall, Ozzie was found safe and well at 5am on Thursday 30th May and brought into us for a full once over and some much needed TLC!! Thankfully, Ozzie was none the worse for his adventures and is no doubt delighted to be back home again 🐾

Snack time yummies 😋
This lovely little hedge hog had an unfortunate run in with a garden strimmer. Luckily Vet Cassie , Vet Nurse Jane and student Nurse Amber were on hand to anaesthetise and patch up this little chap. With plenty of pain relief and some post operative TLC he was rather ravenous after his traumatic day !

On Sunday 26th March, we finally had our long-awaited open day at our new hospital in Falmouth.
We were thrilled to welcome so many of you and take you on a tour of our fabulous hospital. We had a great day and enjoyed answering your questions, especially those of budding young vets of the future!
We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
For those of you who were unable to attend, we have put together a little video of the day which includes a tour around the hospital – watch the video below.

It’s NATIONAL BLIND DOG DAY!! Here’s the story of fun-loving Pine… (she’s the little chocolate one!)
Half the size of her littermates, Pine was born last, with no functional #eyes. She was surrendered to the charity Blind Dog Rescue UK once she was weaned, and soon found a home with one of our vets, Pru.
Pine leads a full life, swimming, paddle boarding and playing in the fields with her best friend Clove. Training has to be adjusted slightly, but she is a very brave little dog and a quick learner. She relies on her nose and ears (lucky she’s a spaniel 😁) and at 4 months old, has responded brilliantly to alerts such as ‘step up’, ‘careful’ and ‘around’ since she was tiny. She has a fan club at Gylly Beach from her morning walks and is the sweetest, most affectionate little puppy, making friends with whoever she runs into…literally 😉.
Blind dogs can live full lives. If you talk to anyone who owns one, they will tell you the same!
Happy Blind Dog Day to all the optically challenged dogs out there!!! ♥️
The RAW campaign theme “Room for Rabbits“ follows research that 38 percent of vets think rabbits’ environment is the most neglected welfare need, with over a quarter of the UK’s rabbits being kept in inadequate housing conditions, and almost half of them living alone. The same survey also found that 90 percent of vets believe that rabbits’ welfare in the UK is improving.
This is nurse Felicity's indoor rabbit room. 🐰
