Gorgeous brekky bun, nice and spicy. And a lovely little tray of treats for Ludo.
That’s his disgusted look cos I won’t share. He didn’t share his!!

Then back to the house to pack up. Mum & dad are back at teatime. I’ve got a night at third born’s with him and the granddoghter before my next sit starts in the morning…..

Happy Saturday morning to you all!
It’s gonna be another scorcher……bet you’re sick of reading that. 🙄
We’ve walked, breakfasted, plant watered and now it’s play time! But only till one of us starts panting, which will probably be me.

You’ve probably been reading a lot about keeping dogs cool etc, so I won’t go on. But one thing I did learn on my first aid course, was that previously we were all told not to immerse a dog if it was suffering heat stroke. It would cause shock. But the dog is already in shock. So now they’ve learned that immersion, if you can, is the best thing to do. If you can’t, just get as much of any kind of cold liquid onto him/her. Then obviously, straight to the vet.
It’s still surprising how many people we’re seeing still walking dogs in this heat. No dog has ever died from missing a couple of walks. Just saying…….

That’s the Fab Four done and dusted. Just a short 2 night one sadly.
Such pretty girls, all rescues.
And I won’t be naked sunbathing next to Jake again! I don’t think there was any need for that expression?!!

Next! The lovely Ludo!
