Things that I have stolen/chewed/snook in, over the last two days,
by Rupert aged 15 months……

Lynne’s walking boot.
My dad’s boot.
Lynne’s slipper.
Lynne’s slipper part 2.
Lynne’s emery board.
A large stick from the garden.
A leaflet that came thru the door. Three times as Lynne didn’t notice there were more.
A Christmas bauble (nearly a tree)
A letter from Lynne’s handbag. Not pictured.
My special bonus, was taunting her with them, then running off. I tell you what, she’d catch me a lot faster if she got some weight off. 🤭
Also not pictured………Lynne’s sanity. However, I’m not sure she had much of that with her.
Then, last pic, she has the cheek to wave that thing infront of me wanting me to take it! Make your mind up woman!!

I’m cute, I’m cuddly, I’m gorgeous and I’m a puppy, therefore cancelling out all the aforementioned misdemeanours.

Here’s Rupert! My next sit till Sunday. Altho I’m not sure that he’s pure dog, he bounces round like a……can’t decide whether it’s kangaroo or a deer? He’s quite a character!

Then we have more bandana beauties.
Rossi rocking the whole Christmas vibe.
Ruth, way down in Hereford looking very doe eyed. And her little brother, another Rupert, looking very tongue in cheek, or rather, tongue on cheek.

So Daffy, which one are you??
She’s gone with nice, and quite right too.
We’ve just had a lovely last walk. Wish I could’ve caught her doing more twirling around, it’s so funny.
She’s just watched me pack up the car, but wouldn’t have a treat to keep her occupied, strange. As soon as I sat down with a cuppa and put the telly on she realised I wasn’t going. The treat was eaten and up she came. She’s laid on top of me fast asleep.
Mum and dad will be back soon and off I’ll go. Only 5 mins away this time tho, so still in the Boro.
See you again next month Daffy! 🥰

I’m only used to little ‘uns. This is like cuddling a fluffy pony. Making the most of it on my last night.
She’s got a lovely squishy pillow there! 😩

Just look at this gorgeous girl! My first standard poodle. The delightful Daffy. 🥰
Only 3 nights with her unfortunately. She’s so cuddly and snuggly. I’ve been stroking and tickling her for an hour now, she won’t let me stop. 😂

Five years ago today we got this troubled girl. She’d been picked up on the street and had been in the shelter for a month. She’d obviously recently had pups and was chipped, but wasn’t traceable.
We went to visit her after seeing a pic online and took her for a walk, first pic. Fell in love with her.
The shelter sent us the second pic a few days before we picked her up. 🥰
The next pics are when we got her home, where she wouldn’t be allowed on my new cream sofa…….

Last few pics are our grumpy, ‘portly’, greying nearly 11 year old gorgeous girl now. The day she ate the absolutely gorgeous bride and groom cake topper, that I’d bought for my eldest son’s wedding cake was a challenging day! But not as challenging as the green sludge I had to clean up from my carpet the next day! 🤢 (Obviously, blue suit and yellow bride hair icing, make green)
My son shouted from the kitchen one day…..
Mum, Indy has got a full tub of butter off the worktop!! What’s she done with it, I asked?
She’s buttered a couple of bits of toast, was his sarcastic reply. 🙄
She’s been a nightmare at times, but we’ve had, and are still having, lots of love and laughs with her.

Another three for the L’s S&S hall of Christmas bandana fame!!
The very handsome Hugo! Such a mischievous funny dog. He gave me some laughs. 🥰
Pretty girl Mia, who was the very first little darling I ever looked after before all this started. 🥰
And the lovely Ludo, who had me holding his bowl up to him so he would eat his tea. Little diva! 😂🥰

The Christmas bandana gallery has begun! Indy, Luna, George, Brian, Buddy, Betty & Margo and Dexter!

Silly sausages. This puppy is so funny terrorising the other two. She doesn’t even flinch when they ‘hint’ to her that they’ve had enough. Those of us that have younger sisters will understand. 😂

Not a very good one with Indy being squashed up.

So what did I do today to keep myself away from that cake shop? I went to bingo! Walked away with the princely sum of £8 profit. That gave Bear and Anya a break from me. Bear needed the rest as when I got back, on our walk, I lost my phone! So we had to retrace our steps, wandering around aimlessly. I accosted a poor lady who very kindly walked with us ringing it. As we rounded a corner I remembered bending over in a particular spot to pick up poo……. Note to self: When doing said task, make sure my pocket is securely closed. I won’t make that mistake again!

Not dog related, well it nearly was, as I thought the middle bit would be great for a dog to chew on, but after checking up, apparently not. They can eat fresh pineapple, but can’t digest that middle bit (see pic in comments) I just think this is the best gadget ever. There’s a knack to it tho, it’s taken me a few goes to do it that good.
