You spend a fortune on nice beds and scratching posts but nah, the very second you plop that fruit box from Costco down they dive in it! What is it with cats and cardboard boxes?

It seems this has turned out to be a supper smart litter. Here are Bens sisters performing their "sit" on command. Very proud of all our little ones, but it certainly shows they are raised alongside dogs!

Ben is a Baker Street baby, he loves to get involved with daily routines and brushes his teeth twice a day with his human Jaqui. What a guy!

Saw this in the news this morning and it humbled me how these "dumb" animals are so dignified whilst being abandoned by humanity. Lining up, waiting patiently to get food. Notice the aged dogs at the front.

It's not their humans fault they had to flee, it's just so sad these poor animals must be so confused.

I know we are all struggling with cost of living but if anyone has any spare change please donate if you can. Thanks

A group of displaced dogs in Kramatorsk, Ukraine, formed an orderly queue as they patiently waited for a recently-installed feeding station to open. Footage shows the dogs queuing behind one another before tucking into to a meal from the station. Cats and dogs have been left without food as their ow...

Oscar is looking for his new forever home 🏡🥰

Oscar is a gorgeous three year old seal point ragdoll with no health issues. He has come to us as he was very unhappy living in a flat as he LOVES to be outside, so it is essential that his new home either has a cat-proofed garden or possibly a large catio area for him to enjoy lots of time outdoors on a daily basis. If you are interested please read on and if you think you could offer him a suitable home please EMAIL us at [email protected] for an application form.

Oscar is not a lap cat but he will rub around your legs and enjoys a little stroke on his own terms. He likes to play and chase things around. He is looking for a patient owner who will spend time building a bond with him to allow him to come out of his shell.

Oscar doesn’t like loud noises or dogs (or the vet!), and although he had never met a cat before he doesn’t seem bothered by the cats that he has seen from his cattery pen in foster care so he could possibly live with another cat.

He is used to living in a quiet home with an older couple where he was used to having some time to himself during the days whilst they were out at work. He may be okay with older children who know how to be calm around him. He does grumble so although there is no aggression it may scare younger children.

If you think you can offer Oscar his purrfect forever home then we’d love to hear from you! ❤️

PLEASE EMAIL US, We can’t reply to all messages on here as we need to see an email and then send you an application form. Thank you.

UPDATE - NOW RESERVED

Percy is looking for his new forever home 🏡

Percy’s most important request is he would like a home with NO OTHER PETS please, as he came into our care because he had unfortunately started showing aggression to the other cat he lived with. He has never shown aggression towards humans.

Percy is 7 years old and he is a handsome seal colourpoint with a white tail tip. He has lived with children but can be a little nervous of them at first. He is a very loving and friendly boy. He can be a bit wary of strangers and loud noises but he is used to the comings and goings of a household with two children and adults who work during the day.

If you think that you could offer Percy his purrfect forever home please contact us at [email protected] for an application form ❤️

We keep news of our litters quiet until they are almost ready to fly the nest as we believe it's unethical to make promises or accept deposits until the little ones have been vet checked and vaccinated. Lovely day had by all yesterday at The British Ragdoll Cat Club and Manchester Cat club show. Obviously I am biased as a committee member for TBRCC but it's always a lovely show.
We entered two cats, Fifi and Morph and they both astounded us with their success but also how they both took to it like little ducks to water! Neither were even born the last time we went to a show! Fifi won her clas and was also awarded best of breed, huge thanks to her judge.
Morph won his class and was awarded his first Champion Certificate!
They both thoroughly enjoyed it purring and padding throughout, it seems growing up in a busy family home set them up well! 😂
Special thanks to both committees to both clubs for all the hard work put into yesterdays event. Lovely day had by all.

Anakin is a big beautiful seal point boy, who loves attention. He was handed in to the club after his owner developed an allergy to him. As an older boy (he will be 13 in July 2022), what Anakin really needs is a safe, comfortable forever home where he can live out his days in peace. He is in very good health, with no medical issues, and is a clean boy who always uses his tray. Anakin can get a bit nervous at times and does not like to be picked up. But he is very gentle when being stroked and groomed. It seems like he would do well in a household with no other animals. He spends most of his days in bed so a cosy couch next to a sunny window would be ideal. Please do get in touch if you feel you could offer Anakin his forever home.

Morning all

We have a pair of older kittens available. Male and female pair, neutered, vaccinated and all the usual documentation you would expect from a TBRCC and GCCF accredited breeder. Of course with us, they are both FCoV negative. We kept these two back as there were only two in the litter and he wasn't as confident as we would like. Those of you who know me know I keep them back if there is a Y in the day! They are stunning young cats and now model citizens but he very much prefers the company of men to women. So, we are looking for a male only or predominantly male environment for them. They are to stay together as a pair, she is a seal colourpointed and he blue colourpointed. No bad habits or dietary requirements. Please get in touch. Not a sales post, just reaching out to start the process of finding a good match as it isn't as straightforward as would normally be the case. Their happiness is our priority. Photo for attention.

HOW MUCH FOR A KITTEN ?

Let me say a few words to you, yes you, the person who writes an email to simply ask the price. The person who calls and after hearing a price surprisedly states: “I can buy a cheaper cat elsewhere”. I also address you; the person who doesn’t care about papers because I want “just a pet”.

No cat is “just a pet”.

Behind every pure bred cat is a BREEDER. I’m using capital letters to differentiate a breeder from a pet factory or mill. A reputable breeder does not breed cats without papers, that does not protect the integrity of the breed. Registration (papers) are records of lineage that document bloodline and allow one to research any possible health issues present in the lineage. When you tell a Breeder you don’t care about papers what you’re really telling them is you couldn’t care less about the health of the cat you just want the cheapest thing you can find! When you select to buy a cat from a reputable and quality breeder, this breeder is responsible for the health of every cat; both cats owned and every cat they’ve sold for its lifetime. This breeder will skip holidays, miss sleeping, and most of their personal house space has been turned into space for their cats . The truly passionate breeder who loves what they breed, puts their whole heart and soul into it. Not only in kittens that are sold, but also in each client who owns a piece of their heart and now is a member of their extended family. This does not take into account any kitten/cat who might get sick or need extra help to thrive. Breeders worry about their babies after they leave and will take one back without question.

A breeder will get their hands dirty, often covered in everything accompanied with birthing. Because that’s what life is about...In the middle of birth and death is life. The wheel that keeps turning. A breeder will do tests, echos, xrays, analysis, emergency c sections, vaccinations, register cats and litters, research pedigrees, deworm, as well as microchip their kittens and get them evaluated by specialists.

Last but by no means least, a breeder CHOOSES the family lucky enough to have one of their kittens. Yes, you read that right. A true breeder chooses who they sell to because they are not making money off the sale. There is no compensation that can offset the investment a Breeder has made so they need to be confident its the right fit. Many times saying more no’s then yes...A good Breeder will have different criteria for those wanting to carry on their bloodline, why? Because breeding is not a responsibility to ever be taken lightly, it’s a lifestyle choice set aside for ONLY the few devoted people willing to sacrifice.

Because a cat is never “just a pet” it’s the Breeder’s legacy, a little boy’s best friend, a little girls protector, an elderly persons therapy, a member of the family, someone’s whole world!!!

Morning all, those of you who know me will be aware that I have recently lost my lovely mum after a long brave battle with cancer. It’s been a very sad and difficult time for our family.

I am very sorry if I haven’t responded to emails, but I was inundated with queries through lockdown and just didn’t have the emotional capacity to deal with them.
During this time I suspended all matching of kittens with families although Rob managed to make sure they all received the best care including vaccinations and neutering etc in my absence.
As a result we have three kittens who are now five months old. They are super confident, outgoing and ready to settle in forever homes. Please contact me to discuss further and accept my apologies for my lack of response if you have previously made contact.

We have just had results back from Glasgow University confirming we remain FCoV free! It’s now one year that we have been clear of this horrid virus. This is fantastic news and proves it can be done!
These are some of our kittens shown in their new homes, not a sales post.
