🥵 WEATHER WARNING 🥵
The weather is set to be a scorcher over the weekend and into early next week so please be super careful with your pets.
🌞 HOW TO KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE 🌞
Please keep pets indoors as much as possible and use fans & cooling mats to keep them cool ❄️
Make sure fresh water is readily available 💦
Please DO NOT walk your dog during the high temperatures, and please do the concrete test with your hand to avoid their pads getting burnt 🔥
If you cannot hold the band of your hand on the ground for more than 7 seconds, it's too hot for your pet to walk on. Missing a walk will not kill your dog, but walking your dog in the heat can!
Pets can get heatstroke even just in the garden. Please keep them inside if you can, or keep them in shaded areas. DO NOT let them run around and overexert themselves in the heat 🥵
