Please help raise money for Missy’s surgery!

Missy is a 1.5yr old, lovely affectionate cat, her elderly owner has had a fall and is currently in hospital.

While her owner was in hospital, Missy started limping. She has had X-rays and she has been diagnosed with Leg Perthes syndrome. She needs surgery on her hip called a femoral head and neck excision as soon as possible.

Since the diagnosis, her owner has needed emergency surgery, she has had to come to the heartbreaking decision to surrender Missy.

Handsome Hansel 🐾 was very nervous of me when I first started to visit him while his owners were away. He would run away when I walked into the room. As you can see I definitely gained his trust!

If you are going away and you have a more nervous or timid cat, having a cat sitter visit is definitely the better option for them. Cats are creatures of habit and are naturally territorial, so sending them to a cattery can be very stressful.

It was a stress free experience for him because he was in his own environment, which is where cats feel most comfortable. And he enjoyed a treat whilst it was being done! 🐾

I trimmed her claws at her pace and gave her regular breaks and as you can see she was very relaxed afterwards. 🐾

This recent study by the RVC shows the most common disorders diagnosed in cats.
4th on the list is ingrown nails! This is easily prevented by checking your cat’s claws regularly and getting them regularly trimmed.

🐰🐰I had two different customers last week for nail trims. These two lovely rabbits Sooty (left) and Sandy (right) were very good for their nail trim.
Sandy was a bit more nervous so needed a break but eventually all nails were trimmed, which saved a stressful journey to the vets!
