By popular demand, I have just taken delivery of my diary for 2025!! For now I will only be taking term time boarding bookings as I have absolutely no idea what our family plans for next year are yet. Trying to get my other half to decide what we’re doing next week is challenge enough 🤣
This years boarding diary remains pretty much chockablock. I do however, have a space opened up on my morning Castle Douglas group walk Monday - Friday excluding a Wednesday. I also have availability for home visits for any other furries throughout the year 🐈🐇🐓🦎🐍🐈‍⬛

PUNCTUALITY
As a ‘one to one’ groomer, when your dog has an appointment with me, my time during that appointment is focused on your dog and your dog alone.
Being late when dropping your dog off will eat into that appointment, and I can't always add that time onto the end of the groom as I may have other clients booked in after you. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I may not be able to fully groom your dog in the time I have left, therefore, in those circumstances, I reserve the right to cancel the groom and rearrange. (This could be several weeks away).

Likewise, you will be given a pick-up time or I will send you a message 10 minutes before I finish asking you to collect your dog. Please be punctual, as I only have a short amount of time between clients to clean up and prepare for the next dog.

COLLECTING EARLY

If you arrive at the salon and your dog is still on the table, please do not enter the salon or allow your dog to see you. Quite often, once a dog sees their owner, they become excited and won’t stay still. This can become dangerous as sharp scissors/clippers are often still being used. If your dog sees you and won’t stay still, I will end the groom at this point, even if there are parts left slightly unfinished. It is not worth risking cutting your dog for the sake of a few finishing touches. I hope you understand the reasons for this.

CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS

Life happens and I understand that customers occasionally have to cancel/rearrange appointments.
Please inform me as soon as possible if you need to rearrange, ideally with at least 48 hrs notice, this will give me the opportunity to try and refill the slot from my waiting list or I can ask another customer to swap dates and times with you so your dog doesn’t go weeks before another groom. Last minute cancellations or failing to show up have a massive impact on a small business.
If you fail to show with no notice you will be required to pay the missed groom price before you can rebook, again this can be several weeks away due my diary being full for most of the next year.
