What a day for our Black and Tans at The Scottish Kennel Club champ show today. Wee Haggis Tweed (Tweed) did us proud in her first show by coming second in her puppy class, qualifying her for Crufts. Linburndax Haggis Bonbabe (Bonbon) was first in her post graduate class, Linburndax Rachs Tru Haggis at Gilberdax (Haggis) was second in Open, gaining his stud book number and to top the day off, Shantallah Secret Shadow at Linburndax (Bentley) was first in his class and awarded his first ever Reserve CC! An amazing day and thanks so much to our judge Mrs Defaye for thinking so highly of our dogs.

One week remaining to get your online entries in for The Scottish Dachshund Club open show.

Any dachshund newbies that want to start showing, come along to this friendly, welcoming show and give it a go!

Happy to help or give advice about which classes to enter, or why don’t you come along just to watch.

Held in an indoor community hall, with food and refreshments available all day.

Tiny Nena, waiting to go to her new home. Her family’s existing elderly dog is unwell, so she’s stopping with me for a couple more weeks. Not complaining, more cuddles for me 🤗

We have had a blast so far . Everyone is loving our big paws and long bodies which are made better by our new . We visited so many nice shops too, including to see our sister from the same mister

What a day for the Linburndax gang at both Leeds and northern counties champ shows today. Bentley, Bonbon and Meadow placing first and Sage qualified for Crufts 2024 too. Shaping up to be a successful year for our wee doggies 🥰

What an amazing day for us at Lancs and Cheshire club open show and Blackpool championship show yesterday.
Bentley, Giselle, Meadow and BonBon all being awarded firsts which was a wonderful achievement and baby Sage (still gaining confidence in the ring) taking a creditable 4th in minor puppy.

Bentley also went in to take best Junior in breed and was shortlisted in the best junior Hound in the Blackpool show.

The lancs & Cheshire show didn’t disappoint either, Bonbon took a further first place in yearling bitch, Giselle and Bentley both took 3rd place in post grad and junior respectively, with Meadow & Sage each picking up a 4th place

Thanks so much to our judges Ian Smith and Lorna Binks for thinking so highly of our dogs on what has been our best showing day yet.

That’s all of our current show dogs qualified for Crufts 2024 🙂

Little 7month old Sage found a wee hiding spot amongst the clothing rails at Laland & Bo’s stand on 3rd Avenue, lifestyle area at the Royal Highland show.

The Met Police shot dead these two innocent dogs who were on leads, showing no aggression and under the control of their owner, all because of the false accusation of a member of the public.

The Met police had no authority to shoot dead these two very much loved pets.

Fab day for the Linburndax Dachshunds gang at Border Union today. Haggis 2nd in novice dog, Bentley 2nd in junior dog , BonBon and Meadow both taking 3rd in their classes and Giselle coming first in her class handled by her breeder Dianne Thomson. Super proud of the sausages today and lovely to see everyone :)

Lovely, affectionate 5 year old KC reg, red mini smooth dachshund ex-breeding bitch, is looking for her own sofa to snuggle on, alongside her own hooman.

She would be best suited in a home with existing male dog/s or as an only dog, as she can try to be dominant with some female dogs, so an experienced home is essential.

Absolutely no cats - it wouldn’t end well.
