The colder weather seems to have returned here in Devon 🌧

Fingers crossed it's a short cold snap but for now I'm thoroughly enjoying my hoodie! I opted for a black, with the 'Adventure with four paws' design and I couldn't be happier with it 🥰

There are just 6 pieces available in tonight's launch, a selection of sizes that are made and ready to go to new homes! I wanted to make sure those of you that love a bluebell shoot had the perfect neckerchief for it. However that doesn't mean to say it isn't the perfect attire for any occasion, this design is sure to be as popular all year round as it's sister, The Chestnut, a favourite with you all! 🥰

A beautiful sister design to The Chestnut, our autumn go to. Bluebell brings all the lovely spring hues into play, blues, greens, purples and pinks to make for a piece that is sure to be as popular as her sister (who we've restocked countless times!) 💐

Here is the official floor plan for BLOSSOM next weekend!

Another jam packed, sold out marketplace as you can see, full of amazing creatives once again.

I have tried to make it as clear as possible as to where everyone will be situated on the day, including highlighting in purple those who will be occupying a full Bay Area and the brown highlighted tables show the creatives that will have front facing stalls on the day.

I have also popped a mock up arrowed walkway in the shape of a figure 8, designed to show how best to route your way through the market and see every single trader on the day!

The three main entrances to the market are marked too, featuring the main front entrance through the high street (currently surrounded my scaffolding, but still accessible), the main archway opening in the middle of Butchers Row, and the opposite archway opening from Market Street (beside Bar Nirvana/The Rabbit Hole).

Make sure you save this image to your phone or maybe print this off so you can reference it when you visit on the day!

Remember, the event if FREE to attend, and is family and dog friendly too.

Blossom takes place on Sunday April 7th at Barnstaple Pannier Market and the live music takes place at the neighbouring Bar Nirvana at The Rabbit Hole.

The marketplace will run from 10am - 4pm, with the live music starting at midday and running late into the evening.

I will post the full live music time slots later this week too, so keep an eye out for that and who is playing.

Joining the Collective Collar ranks is this beautiful inky black that oozes luxury with the brass hardware 😍

SABLE
Another scrumptiously soft brushed cotton flannel with a black, white and sand plaid design with a flash of red.

This combination is quickly becoming one of my favourites for this time of year. When the weather isn't bringing any of the usual spring inspiration I've still been reaching for the darker cosier things in life and these two are a match made in heaven!

As you may have seen from my stories, inspiration for colourful spring designs just hasn't been striking recently as the days have been dull and full of rain! So whilst I'm struggling to emerge from hibernation I've gone with it and embraced my need for the darker and cosier things in life, anyone relate? 🙈

Black has always been a guilty pleasure of mine, nothing is better than a classic all black outfit, always so elegant! So these designs are quickly becoming an obsession of mine 😍 A soft and cosy (as always) brushed cotton bandana in a sand and black design with a flash of red and the inky Onyx Collective Collar (available as a Martingale & Buckle) will be making their way into the store on Monday to turn your notifications on for these beauties!

Designed by us, (with help from Lynzi!) individually hand dyed by Lynzi and finished with a beautiful suede label by Jodie 🥰 I am so so happy with these, they're true B&Co style softness with all the sustainability points I could wish for! Lynzi & Jodie were a dream to work with, I really do LOVE working with small businesses, I feel like anything is possible!

Why Merino Wool? 🐑
So under rated! We have chosen cruelty free Merino Wool for these and there are such wonderful qualities in this material that just make sense for a beautiful bobble hat.

- stain & odour resistant
- UV resistant
- fire resistant

AND (as if that wasn't enough)

Customs! I don't shout about it enough and a lot of you probably don't know but I can and do take custom orders 🥰

If I'm asked to make something that won't fit with these values I'm afraid I won't take the order, this is because these values are extremely important to me and they run to the core of the business.

I also take bandana custom orders however the majority of the ones I've had are for weddings so they don't feature here!

So if you've had something in mind that you can't find anywhere else or you want your master piece made by a brand whose sourcing will support both economic and environmental sustainability, get in touch 🥰

I simply adore being sent images of your best friends enjoying B&Co products so it is only fitting that today, Valentines Day- a day to appreciate and celebrate all those who mean the most to you, is all about you!

You, my wonderful customers 🥰 without whom I would be nothing! There are too many of you to put into one Instagram post but you all know who you are. I'm always pleasantly surprised at how well I've done and it reminds me what all the hard work is for 🥰

The Christmas markets are nearly at an end for Billie & Co! We've got next on Sunday 17th 10-4pm which we will have a few one off pieces for so make sure you head over to see, both Human & Canine goodies! 😏

Tonight Ben & I will be enjoying some of the festivities ourselves and going for a Wanderer around the Castle Hill Illuminations in Filleigh. AND I'll be actually visiting a market that I don't have a stall at, how exciting! 🥰

I've managed to do all of my Christmas shopping with small businesses so far this year and I'm so pleased, they're all such beautiful items and I can't wait to gift them! We had a wonderful time on Wednesday evening for the Christmas Artisan Market which was a success and this weekend is set to be doubly festive with on Saturday (Exeter, 10-4pm) and on Sunday (Makers Market, 10.30-3.30pm). An iconic part of Billie & Co history ❤️

A snap of the lovely Jasper wearing the Tartan Fray back in the Billie Bandana days (our old name!) when I made collar slips, this bandana was so so popular, restocked more times than I can remember. It's the design that started my obsession (and now yours 😉) with 3 wonderful things; brushed cotton, tartan and of course frayed bandanas! 🥰

Now it's made a wonderful come back for the Winter 2023 collection! I've managed to get my hands on a section of this lovely fabric, so I have SUPER LIMITED numbers, I have only 2 or 3 of each size so it won't hang around!

's late older brother Jasper, was such a beautiful soul ❤️ I fell in love with him as soon as we saw a shot of him on Fionns page, we meet him a few times for adventures and he was an absolute delight, such a pleasure. It's a privilege that he was a part of our history, long may he live in our hearts ❤️

Christmas has arrived at Billie & Co 🎄

WINTER 2023 will be here at 5pm tomorrow 🥳

Somebody had to be last right? 😂 But we're kicking it off with the beautiful Festive Friday design!

This design is my favourite. I love the rich green cotton embellished with stunning gold branches, leading to delicate pops of colourful baubles! This is well and truly inspired by 's 🌈 This collection has really tested me (with supply lines being so unstable at the moment each plan I made has been pulled out from under me) and listening to Holly's podcasts, stories and reading her articles on the .co website has really lifted me in this hour of darkness. ✨

On my endless search I found this beautiful, festive design and immediately knew this was my joy and light within the bleak, pressurising and stressful lead up to Black Friday. The day that sucks the joy out of Christmas gifting! I can't be the only one in saying that as a business it pressures you into running sales that aren't realistic, disappointing customers that now expect huge discounts and as a customer you feel as if you have to buy something! (usually something you don't really need or want!) The whole thing is horrible.

Which is why we will wholeheartedly be supporting and shouting about Colour Friday! 🌈 A campaign that supports buying from small businesses, one that aims to put the joy back into gifting and actually does good with its end goal. Even if, out of all of the Christmas gifts you buy this year, just one of them is from a small business it would make the world of difference. Because even just one order can change a founders life, your order could be the one that keeps them going when they thought all hope had gone. The order that reignites the spark of creativity they needed. That could be you, the power is yours.
