Fantastic afternoon/evening here at Northop Equestrian with Ben Hobday

All riders rode beautifully and horses jumped fantastic and I’m sure everyone on the clinic would agree that everyone took things from their lessons to work on.

As we had a great turnout and feedback from the clinic we will be looking to have Ben back in the near future so please look out on our page for future clinics.

It was a pleasure to hold the clinic here at Northop and would like to say Well Done to all riders and their horses!

Jumps are out, arena is harrowed, ready for F&D dressage tomorrow! 🐴

Ben Hobday…. Ridden round Badminton and Burghley, National Novice Champion, National British Open champion and twice Nation 4 year old champion and achieved much more, is coming to Northop Equestrian to do a training clinic on 🌟FRIDAY 17th NOVEMEBER 🌟

Lessons are groups of 2 or 4. It’s £50 each for a lesson of 4 and £100 each for a lesson of 2.

He will be doing a training jumping clinic full of exercises and techniques.

Please let me know if you would like to join and I’ll get you booked in. I just need your name and horses name and the level you ride at. First come first serve, limited spaces available.

Clear round will start at 10am and will be for 1 hour.

Class 1 60cm will start at 11am, classes will run for approximately one hour each depending on entries on the day so please come with plenty of time.

Missed out on our gastroscope offer in January?

Our fantastic £75 gastroscope offer will be continuing throughout February! This includes a gastroscope and sedation for just £75 (usually £150 with sedation on top!)

Our lameness, diagnosis and treatments client information evening is happening on the 23rd February at Northop Equestrian. Complimentary food and drink is available from 6.45 with the talk beginning at 7.15pm. Email or call the office to secure your spot.

We are planning to host a client information evening on Anglesey in late February/ early March as we are aware some of you have wanted to come to previous evenings but have been unable to travel to Northop.

*RADICAL NEW TREATMENT FOR JOINT ARTHRITIS*

Degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis) can be a condition that limits your horses performance and may even lead to retirement. Lameness and joint swelling are the most common clinical signs.
Historically treatment has been limited to joint medications that further degenerate the joint and that have required regular top ups.
Arti-cell forte is a relatively new product to the market, which acts to regenerate the joint using stem cells that have been engineered to produce new cartilage and so effectively reline the joint.
We have had amazing results in a variety of cases. Below are testimonials from clients that have had arti-cell forte treatment with our clinic:

‘My working hunter horse had arthritis in both of its coffin joints and had been retired to the field due to lameness. We tried Arti-cell Forte in both coffin joints to try and make him comfortable in the field. The stem cells worked so well he returned to being comfortable when ridden and jumping and we even managed to qualify for HOYS- something I never thought would be possible before the treatment.’

Happy new year to all our lovely clients and patients!

To start 2023 off with a bang we are thrilled to be renewing our £75 gastroscope offer. This includes a gastroscope and sedation for £75 with no visit fee (our usual fee would be £120 with sedation and visit fees on top!)
We will be holding a gastroscope day at our clinic (LL17) on the 18th January and will be at Northop Equestrian on the 19th January for further gastroscopy.

*NORTHOP GASTROSCOPE CLINIC*

What a great day we had doing our first gastroscope clinic of the winter season in partnership with Northop Equestrian. We did a total of 9 gastroscopes, on a range of sizes and types of horses.

Don’t forget our £75 offer (including sedation) is only available until the end of November, so book in now if you have concerns your horse has ulcers.

If you have any concerns that your horse has ulcers and require more information, or to book in a gastroscope, even just for peace of mind that they don’t have ulcers, please call the office on 01745 584516.

*CLIENT INFORMATION EVENINGS*

We are thrilled to announce our first winter information evening of the season!

Our first evening will be on 17th November and will be all about equine gastric ulcer syndrome, with particular focus on treatment and prevention.

The location of the evening will be Northop Equestrian (CH7 6AA). Complementary food and drink will be available from 6.45pm with the talk starting at around 7.30pm.

The following Thursday (24th November) we will be holding a gastroscope clinic at Northop Equestrian for the special price of £75 including sedation. We will be holding a prize draw where the winner will receive their gastroscope for free.
Can't make it to the clinic at Northop? We will be offering the same £75 deal at your yard until the end of November, with a visit fee on top.
