🐾 ADOPTED 🐾
Mom says I stink of wild garlic! But I know secretly she doesn't mind because I've impressed her today with my good behaviour. To get into the woods we needed to cross a busy road. Now 2 months ago I would have screamed and lunged at the traffic. But today I listened to mom and and just looked at the cars as they went by. I'm still interested in traffic but mom says my new good behaviour is a massive improvement and much safer. Love from Woody x

My beautiful boys 💕 Almost 2 months in and Woody is settling in lovely. He absolutely loves his flyball lessons and has picked it up really quickly. Sydney's been fantastic and has completely accepted Woody. Yes we have moments of chaos and playing but for 2 male Kelpies both under 23 months they've done so well. Am so proud of them both 💖

His nipping is pretty much non existent now, He loves his big kelpie brother, playing & cuddling, he's making great strides in flyball beginners classes 🤩 well done littlen 👍

Good luck on the next stage in your life Woody, be a good boy and it’s likely this will be your last stop. You have been a pleasure to know and a wonderful house guest, although I could have done without you wanting to play with your tennis ball on top of me at 2am 😂 Thank you Katy for giving this little chap a flying start and Hayley for continuing his care and training, I think you’re going to love him 🥰 Photo is of him having his ball retrieved from behind the sofa for the billionth time 😂

So today I had to go to the vets because I have conjunctivitis. I was ever so good and allowed myself to be picked up and have dye and drops in my eyes. It was worth the faff as I got squeezy cheese and liver treats for my trouble. Here I am paying the bill 💷

Woody is now in kennels in Chester. He is doing really well but so desperately needs a home to call his own. A lot of the photos you see Woody is wearing a muzzle, this isn’t because he’s an aggressive dog it’s because he can nip at other dogs when he gets excited, it’s a common trait in herding breeds. Wearing a muzzle means he can join in running around and not provoke other dogs. He is a super little chap, very intelligent and a real pocket rocket that wants to learn and engage with his human. Underneath his muzzle he is a very handsome young chap though 😍

So this was going to be a nice video of my 5 (including Woody KW) being perfectly behaved and doing clever things together in the field. The sunshine and high winds proved too much and instead we have a short vid mainly of bottoms disappearing at speed. 🤣 btw, Woody is the small mainly black doggo with the Curly Tail 😍

NOW IN FOSTER 🤗

Our wonderful Katy has been fostering Woody now for quite a few months , She has done wonders with this little lad & we are so so greatful to her 🧡 he still has a long way to go in his training but he's had a great start.

Katy isn't able to continue to foster Woody due to other commitments, we knew this when She took him on in November, we didn't & couldn't forsee that he wouldn't be rehomed in this amount of time, , We did have a wonderful home apply but they work very long hours & Woody wouldn't cope being alone all that time.

He is due to come to kennels on the 27th of February 😔 we understand a lot of people & their Dogs wouldn't cope with Woody's excited nipping when leaving for a walk , he is muzzle Trained & it's far from aggression bless him.

we're appealing for someone experienced to foster or a Forever for this sweet boy 🙏 you can read more about him in his page ...

The night Woody arrived he jumped clean onto the table and stole my bread roll, buggering off with it across the lounge. After a short chase, a few choice words and a rugby tackle, I got my bread roll back! Now he understands mealtime manners... good boy 🤗

Been to a Secure field for a good run around without my foster Mom today, I did really well not fretting without her, I had a blast look 🤩
I wear this basket on my face not because I'm aggressive, I just get excited & nip my running Buddy's, it helps them not to get annoyed with me, it can be a trait in working breeds I'm told , I'm sure I'll get over it with help 🤗
P.S ... I forgot to mention I also jumped in & out of a strange car & recalled perfectly 👍

I Love to play 🤩 my foster Mom says I'm very good at it, I'm gentler with the older Dogs in the house & rough & tumble with the younger one's, She says this is a great trait I have, do you have a Dog friend for me that I could come live with forever ...

This little lad is going to make someone a fabulous Agility/flyball Dog or simular, his fosterer has done wonders with his boundary training so far & he's starting to learn/ choose great life skills now , such a sweetie, see his post for more details ...

Let's get him into a home before he falls too deeply for Katy & his Doggy friends in his foster home 🙏
