A little bit about us ✨

Who are we?
We have sites across Darlington, Hurworth and South Kilvington. 🗺️📍

South Acres offers dog fields, ranging from 1.5acres to 7 acres, each completely secured with 6-foot-high fencing and privacy mesh where applicable 🙈👀

What's the goal?
Our fields have been designed in consultation with canine behaviour experts and dog trainers. 🫡

We understand that some dogs can be nervous, anxious, reactive or simply just prefer not to come back when the owners ask them to! 💨

So, we wanted to provide a safe space for owners, professionals & most importantly, dogs to enjoy off-lead freedom in our fields. 🐕
Our fields are perfect for exercise, training and exploring without the worries of any distractions. 😸🐇🐿️

What's in it for your dogs?
50 minutes of zoomies in a relaxed and safe environment. 🤩🙌🏼

Depending on the site you choose to visit, there are enrichment activities such as sand pits, tree-stump jumps, climbing frames, herb jungle, long meadows, clover patches, agility equipment and a straw-bale. 🪵🌿🌾

Every site has fresh drinking water & in summer months, most fields will have a paddling pool for the water lovers to enjoy! 💦

What's in it for you?
50 minutes of stress free, fresh air.✨

Secure parking 🚗 , picnic benches and the not-so fun bit ... bins for your dogs waste! 💩

There are also hosepipes for those winter months if your dog is a mud-monster! 👹

How do you book?
You can head over to our website https://southacresfields.co.uk/
Select which field you wish to visit and pick your date/time via our slick booking system. 📆
You can pay securely by either PayPal or Stripe. 💰

What happens once I book?
You will receive a confirmation email that will also provide the padlock code for your chosen field. 🔐

You just turn up, use the code to access the field, close the gate behind you & the field is exclusively yours for the next 50 minutes. 🐶

Once you leave, please replace the padlock & lock it up ready for the next person. ✅

‼️ROAD CLOSURE‼️

Sorry folks! Looks like there will be road closure again from tomorrow for a couple of days whilst they add the road markings 🖍️

You should be able to access from both sides if you tell the traffic control where you are going.

If you have any issues, please give us a call 📞

As always, please give yourselves a little more time just in case & we will update if anything changes 📣

We are told access over this weekend will be via the Hurworth end (turn in at spa shop)

If there are cones in place & no workmen around at the time, you are able to move a cone to pass through 👍🏽

If there are workmen, please tell them you are using the fields and they will let you through.

If there are no workmen, it’s fine to move a cone to get through & pop it back.

After 10am, access will be via the stadium end.

The workers will keep you right throughout the day.

If there are no workmen visible at the cones, you can move them to get through & pop them back afterwards

Round hill road will be closed today from the ‘Stadium end’ so access to the fields will be from Hurworth.

We are in contact with the workers daily to provide updates each day regarding access 📣

📣Road Closure📣

Roundhill Road is scheduled to be closed from Monday for 2 weeks 📆

BUT …. Like a dog with a bone 🦴 we explained to the powers above that the paws 🐾 of Darlington still need their exercise 🤷🏼‍♀️

So if you’re booked in whilst the road is closed, the workers will wave you through with a smile 😃 if you tell them where you’re going ✅
