‼️IMPORTANT UPDATE ON ROAD CLOSURE …

Southacres customers will be able to access the fields.

If approaching from Darlington, explain to workers where you are going & they will move cones to let you through.

If approaching from Hurworth, move cones to pass through & replace them afterwards.

Hope this helps 🐾

⛔️PLEASE READ - ROAD CLOSURE⛔️

From 28th May, if your travelling from Darlington, the junction from Neasham Road onto Roundhill Road will be closed for up to 5 days due to road works.

After speaking with the council, they have confirmed there will still be access to SouthAcres via a different route.

You will basically enter by Hurworth village instead of Neasham Road. A little screen shot below shows the route (green line).

Please give yourselves a little extra travel time & if your stuck, give us a shout 🚗

Rosie says ‘suns out tongues out’ 👅

We have put out a couple of paddling pools out for the warmer weather this weekend at the Darlington site 💦

Please be careful not to over fill them & try to tip them out as it split.

Enjoy & stay cool 😎

📣Polite Notice📣

There seems to be a lot of mess left at the moment in the Darlington Adventure Field.

We kindly ask that users are more vigilant and ensure you are cleaning up after your dogs. The poo bag dispensers have been topped up & there are plenty of bins to chuck it in.

We understand the field is muddy at the moment due to all the wet British weather …. But mud mixed with dog poo makes even worse 💩😅

Please respect other users by cleaning up after your dogs … Thank you 🐾

- The dog is neutered/spayed. (by 30 June 2024 for dog over 1 year old by the end of 2024 for dogs under 1 year old on 31 January 2024)
- The dog is kept secured, on a lead and muzzled until you are inside of the field gate and it is closed behind you.
- When leaving the field gate, the dog should be secured, on a lead and muzzled.

The perfect day for December 1st 🎅🏽❄️🎄☃️

30/11/2023

December is right around the corner, and like us, our pets might need a little extra TLC over the winter months. ❤️ Here are some common winter hazards to look out for to keep your pet happy and safe:

🔐 Accidentally locking pets out. Not realising that our pets have followed us out of the back door has happened to the best of us, but in winter, it's even more important to make sure they can stay safe and warm inside.
❄️ Antifreeze and de-icer. Both are incredibly toxic for animals and can kill them. Keep antifreeze out of the reach of pets and clean up any spills thoroughly.
🥀 Poisonous plants. Festive favourites like holly, ivy and poinsettia are all toxic to pets if they eat them. Keep them out of your pet's reach, or use artificial plants to decorate your home.
🥶 Snowy paws. Snow can build up on a pet's paws and cause discomfort, so prepare paws by keeping hair between pads trimmed so there's less hair for the snow to gather on.
🚘 Sheltering cats. Cats often shelter under cars or will even climb inside the bonnet beside a warm engine. Always check your vehicle for visitors or knock on the bonnet before you start it.
🧂 Salt and grit. Wash your pet's paws if they come into contact with salt and grit, as it can be irritating. Applying a thin layer of paw butter to your dog's pads could also help protect them from drying out or cracking.
