Great morning at City of Birmingham Canine association Championship show. Both Dexter and Mia winning their puppy classes. Mia then doing the old switch-a-roo, beating her brother to best puppy in breed

Great day yesterday at Bournemouth canine association Champ show. Dexter,Nevernights Eclipse winning best puppy dog and Mia, Nevernights Little Crow winning best puppy bitch. Dex then going one better and winning best bull terrier puppy.

Had a fantastic result Thursday. A lovely lady struggling with pulling and lead reactivity. Two over excited/anxious dachshunds.
One of them you couldn’t even get a lead on!!

A shocking spike in brain injuries for dog walkers!!
The Telegraph reports brain injuries are the 2nd most prevalent injury sustained by dog walkers, after broken fingers.
Hospital records show between 2001 -2020, 422,000 people were injured dog walking. The main culprit, The Extendable Lead.

Something to think about!!
Let’s ditch the extenders and learn loose lead gentle control. Less stress for you, more comfort and control for your dog

After spending my life living with dogs, I became fascinated by the way in which they communicate. Sometimes quite obviously, other times not so much. It became such a draw, like trying to learn a new language,It was compelling.
I had no choice but to learn the nuances and subtleties in more detail. To that end I qualified as a canine behavioural trainer. Gaining a distinction at level 4 in advanced canine psychology at the British college of canine studies.
