After a manic week, I’ve only got one horse left to shoe for this years Royal Welsh, and that’s my own🐎

Huge thank you to Tyler!! Collecting his extremely rare Ex RAC Transit Custom from us yesterday.

Tyler is a farrier from Caerphilly, South Wales and has recently started his own business. Tyler has been working out of the back of a caddy for the last few months and was dying for an upgrade.

As soon as Tyler saw our Transit Custom advertised online he travelled down to view. We where able to get the van ready to be driven away the same day. 🙌🏼

Was an absolute pleasure to meet you and be able to supply you with your new works vehicle dude!!!

Horse & Hound Awards 2022

We had a great night last Wednesday, I didn’t come home with the award, however it couldn’t have gone to a better recipient, The Late Brendan Murray, a fitting tribute to someone who gave their life to the job!

I’d like to say a massive thank you to all of those who nominated and voted for me, to be in the top 4 shortlisted absolutely blew me away, especially in my first 6 months as a qualified farrier! I must be doing something right somewhere!

Id also like to congratulate the other shortlisted farriers James Black and Dale Greenwood👏🏻

Also to my mother and father for all their support as I wouldn’t be where I am today without them, I couldn’t have attended the evening with anyone else!

Again a massive thank you to all my clients, friends and family!

Absolutely blown away to have been nominated and shortlisted in the final 4 out of all of the farriers in the UK for Farrier of The Year 2022.

I’d like to say an absolute massive thank you to all my clients who nominated me, shocked is an understatement. I cannot have asked for a better first 5 months as a qualified farrier, I never thought when I started my business that it would take off like it has and that I’d have the clients that I do, and I certainly didn’t think I’d be writing this status!

I am massively grateful for all those who trust me with their horses and let me carry out my work.

A massive thank you also goes out to my Dad and Wade, as without either of you I wouldn’t be in the position I am either.

Despite the mild weather and the grass all looking brown we are still seeing lots of new cases of laminitis. This is only going to get worse now that we are getting a bit of rain and the grass is starting to grow again - take care everyone and remember to watch out for the early signs.
