Another update on 'Emma' the XL Bully. Super impressed with how things have progressed with this beautiful girl!
Romanian rescue 'Nova' came to see us with reactivity and confusion.
After 2 sessions, she left us with guidance, boundaries and desensitisation which allowed her to interact with balanced dogs rather than react towards them.
Her owners continue to work hard at helping her achieve her potential.
Jackie Wren with lovely control on Wilson (and some beat matching steps to boot!) Saturday groups coping beautifully with the addition of a few new dogs, Hannah and Rommie for the win, Bruno with some distance control. Proud, proud proud! 👏
Another great session with the introduction of puppy Weimaraner 'Nova' and Dutch Herder 'Eggsy'
For Nova, this was especially important as she needs to continue to have controlled, positive interactions (and a degree of indifference) with other dogs, and handled it brilliantly.
Eggsy is older, but still benefits from the engagement and focus required in a group setting.

It's not just big dogs that needs control.
Twiggy came to us a incredibly fear reactive pup. Lunging, barking and aggression were the order of the day! Big, small...it didn't matter, she flew at EVERYTHING!!!
Engagement, handling and setting boundaries allowed her to be guided in the right direction.
Sophie has put in a tremendous amount of work!
Giving Twiggy ALL of the information has allowed her to make her own decisions. The progress speaks for itself!

Another cracking neutrality session, this time in Crawley Down. Both groups of dogs coped brilliantly with everything that was thrown at them. Momentary handbags were dealt with quickly and the session evolved into a very successful session for both the dogs and owners.

There is no definitive, singular way to train a dog. Taking the breed, personality, owner attachment style, and their conditioned behaviour is all paramount.
The most complicated thing to train is simplicity.
Creating consistent, realistic, and easy to follow leadership solutions. Simply put, we want you to have the best dog in the world! 😊
We spend a lot of our time listening to how we are supposed to train our dogs, that they don't need obedience or leadership, but never see any evidence.
We don't discriminate over breeds, use avoidance methods or balancing of our dogs chakras. We simply give owners and dogs the tools to deal with situations.
Invariably we deal with strong dogs, timid dogs, big dogs, small dogs, dogs with drive and dogs without. It is not a one-size-fits-all, and every dog is given its own unique path.
Less chat, more training.
Excited to announce we have secured 60 acres of fantastic training space in Newchapel.
This will allow us to cover a lot more including:
- noise reactivity (fireworks/ gunshot)
- long distance recall and control
- Introduction to sports
- Manwork
The autumn/ winter group sessions are also potentially looking to move from week days to Saturday mornings as the nights draw in.
This was a massive step with fear aggressive Dobie, Ela.
Reactive to both dogs and people, with the help of the knowledgeable and ever patient Rhiannon from The Paw Store BB Pet Supplies in Lingfield, we managed to contercondition and desensitise to a new level.
While this may be perceived as routine for a lot of dogs, this was an awesome step in the right direction for Ela 😊
