Hi everyone! We received a lovely video of Betty at her Physio with @annawilsonvetphysio! She’s doing very well, still no major movement in her feet or lower back. But @annawilsonvetphysio and @amelia_onwheels have been working so hard with her, and does get the odd ‘ouch’ when squeezing her toes! Guess who can move her tail!!!! Safe to say, we all cried of happiness when we first saw it. Slight muscle twitch when we pinch her feet as well at the moment 🤩 We love you so so much Betty. Your a true fighter, we are working so hard to get you back on your feet girl. We will do it, I know we will!! The vets have now prescribed some Trazadone for Betty’s anxiety. As she is a lot more barky and anxious than last time. Other than that, our little girl is getting there ❤️ Karen’s Knits x

Guess who we went to go and visit today.. our beautiful Betty 💔 She is doing well, she still isn’t eating, until we went in and brought her some of her favourite treats! She ate a whole big slice of her favourite cheese and some melon covered in honey 💛 She was so happy to see us, and we ended up sitting in one of the back rooms where the sun was, and she fell asleep in our arms and stopped shaking. They have reduced all her strong pain relief, and now on Paracetomol and Gabapentin through her IV. Which they are hoping to start her on oral tomorrow or Tuesday. The catheter will hopefully be coming out Tuesday once her main Vet is back in and assesses her. Still no feeling or deep pain sensation in her tail or back legs. But as long as she’s comfortable, that’s all that matters. It was heartbreaking to leave her again. This is the longest time Betty has ever been away from us, so we think she’s on protest and wants to come home, hence why she’s not eating! The vets are so kind and caring towards her, so we owe them such a big thank you for all they’re doing. The vet today was wonderful, and we are wondering whether she’s going to pick some cheese and honey up on her way home tonight for Betty! 😂 we were going to leave some but she ended up eating the whole lot! It was so good to see her, but heart wrenching that we couldn’t bring her home. Karen’s Knits xx

We have come to a decision of changing our charity that we donate too. @theredfoundationuk is such an incredible charity and we cherish everything they did for us and Buzz 💛 With Betty’s sudden hit of IVDD the end of last year, and due to the support and love they gave us, we have now chosen @dedicatedtodachshundswithivdd to donate too 💙 We wouldn’t be able to donate to these wonderful charities if it wasn’t for you incredible people who placed orders! LETS GET PHYSICAL 💪🏽 Physio session this morning was good! You go girl ❤️

Look who’s home!!! 4 days since surgery and our physiotherapist has commented on how well Betty is doing 😊 He has given us physio techniques to do with Betty everyday. Then we can start hydrotherapy in about 6-8 weeks times 🤞🏽 We are no where near the end yet, this is just the start! But we are so excited to have her home! It is heartbreaking to see our little girl like this, when she was so happy running around Christmas Day, just proves how quick IVDD can strike 😢 We always commented on how nice Betty’s bum and legs were too! She had such a lovely little bum 😂 Safe to say, Harry went MAD when she got home. He’s still laid next to her cage crying because he’s so confused bless him, but pleased to have his sister back ❤️ Let’s do this Betty our beautiful little girl!!! 🤞🏽❤️ Thank you to EVERYONE for your kind words, messages and donations. A WHOLE NEW LOOK! So I’ve just sat and spent 2/3 hours on sorting the Etsy Shop out! Now all products are in selected collections with a new DROP DOWN MENU of a colour choice. We have so many customers asking if we do different colours, and we do! The photos we take are just for advertising purposes only. We’ve also had customers asking for colours we don’t even provide, but we go straight out and try find the colours they’re after! 😁 I’ve added a photo for nearly every colour on the drop down menu, but Etsy only lets you add a certain amount of photos! 😂 Have a look and keep ordering 😁🎉 New colours coming soon 🙊

Me and Mam (Karen), started this small business on the 4th of November. We saw that @theredfoundationuk were doing a VIP100 Christmas target, asking people to help raise £100 before the 20th of December. After many discussions, we thought yes! Let’s do this! Started on a small quiet page and only receiving orders locally. I created this page on Instagram and opened up an Etsy shop and wow! WE HAVE RAISED AND SENT £200!! We are over the moon, and so so so grateful of you all. Without you all, we wouldn’t of been able to do this. Quite frankly, without you all, we wouldn’t of enjoyed it as much as we have! We have spoken to some incredible people over our social media. The photos have been perfect too. The support is so overwhelming. We can’t thank you all enough ❤️ We have decided to carry on this journey into the New Year and from the 4th of January, we will still be supporting @theredfoundationuk. But from September 2021, we will be splitting the donations and raising funds for IVDD - UK as well. A few other changes will be: added delivery prices from today and the prices of products will also rise (only a little!) Brand new ideas/bundles/designs are coming, new logos, new packaging and new business cards! So please keep ordering and we cannot wait to carry this journey on with all of you.
