Hi everyone.

The cold weather has set in and we are being asked to take more & more cats and kittens, many in need of Veterinary treatment and neutering.
We are drowning in Vet bills but still have so many animals waiting to come in, that need our help.

We have 4,500 incredible followers ❤️

So for less than a pint of milk, if everyone donated just £1, we could get our Vet bills sorted for this month. Can you imagine? Let's do this ‼️🐾

A massive shout out to all those supporting British Farmers today! Whether that be going to London, wearing your wellingtons or voicing support-this is so important for the future of farming and means the world to so many of us.

⭐️⭐️Kitten Update⭐️⭐️

🌸🌼🌸🌼Tess and Floss🌼🌸🌼🌸

Tess and Floss are 4 years old, female corgis! They are sisters and have always been together however, due to living with several other dogs, they do not seem overly bonded so we could potentially separate them.

Both girls are typical corgis in every way-friendly, bouncy, comical and cuddly!

🏡 These girls need a secure garden as they are inclined to go for a wander!

🐶 Both girls are fine with other dogs however, Floss does guard her food around them.

🐱Not Cat Tested Yet

🦮 Both walk nicely on the lead and are a pleasure to walk.

👶 Neither have any experience with children so 12 years plus please!

🏡 House training appears to need a bit of work as both have had the odd accident-this could just be the massive change in environment.

🐷 Both girls need to loose a few pounds!

Please research corgis before applying as these girls are extremely typical of the breed and need homes that understand this!

Thanks to the amazing care provided by a wonderful fosterer all 3 kittens are slowly gaining weight and appear to be recovering!

Most of you will remember the 3 poor little kittens from the other day, the poor little tabby weighs just 510g compared to the 845g and 745g the others weigh, she is extremely malnourished and needs syringe feeding 😢

All 3 have been to our wonderful vets and been given antibiotics due to running temperatures alongside nutritional support to help them. All we can do is hope these poor little ones pull through.

Say hello to these beautiful 12 week old sisters Ulani and Utah who despite a bad start have the sweetest natures.

🩶Ulani with her stunning amber eyes, is a confident happy girl who greets you with her little mew

🕵️‍♀️If there’s ever anything going on, Ulani wants to know about it.

🎾Ulani loves chasing her toys around

🧸Ulani watches out for her sister.

🥘Ulani is always first to the food bowl. We wonder where she puts it all

🩶Utah is more nervous than her sister and needs more time to trust.

💚Utah has the loveliest green eyes.

🤱🏼Utah is slowly learning that hands can be very comforting. She is such a little sweetheart who needs someone who is prepared to put the time in with her to build her confidence.

👁️Utah is very watchful, her gorgeous eyes follow you around

🥘Utah lets her sister be the official taster before diving into the food bowl herself

🐣Pearl, Peanut, Pip & Pumpkin’s Mum Wren, was rescued whilst pregnant and the kittens were born in their HART foster home on the night of August 26th.

🛡There were confirmed cases of Panleukopenia in the colony where they were living. Although the kittens will be fully vaccinated before adoption and have never shown signs of the virus, we are erring on the safe side and seeking homes for them where they will be the only cats in the home. They can still go out and do all the normal cat things!

You’ve seen them before in some of our posts, but here they are in full and ready to receive applications!

Pumpkin

😍Astonishingly gorgeous, peachy long haired male kitten

🌳Pumpkin is Mr Calm. Nothing phases him, not even his visits to the vet for vaccinations!

🌞Pumpkin stood out at birth – a silky, light golden little beauty and he’s growing stunninger every day

💋Given his irresistible floofiness, Pumpkin has accepted that tummy kisses, toe kisses, nose bops and smooches are simply part of his Pumpkin lifestyle

💗He’s usually found playing with his partner in crime Pip, eating, or lying on his back gazing at you in anticipation of a bit more admiration.

Pip

⭐Pip is full of smarts. He’s incorrigible. Quick.. Endearingly sweet & always first to figure out things (like accessing the table top where you prepare their treats)

🎩Whilst Pip is mostly silky black, he has a few distinguished silvery hairs on his chin & chest. He has style!

🦘Pip likes to be airborne... never walk if you can jump. He is well practised at launching himself off things, onto things or, if no things are available, just jumping in the air for the fun of it. It’s hard not to smile with Pip around!

🐘Pip and Pumpkin together are fully able to sound like a herd of elephants doing parkour

Peanut

🥜Peanut was the first kitten of this litter. He came out backwards, but easily... that kind of sums him up! Peanut does things his own way, and very cheerfully. And yes, he did look like a peanut!!

🍤Peanut is happy to eat his normal kitten food... but clearly expresses his passion for chicken fillets with prawns

😃Peanut purrs as soon as you touch him, and normally as soon as you see him. He’s a very contented little chap.

📚Peanut prefers quieter company and a bit of introvert time in between zooming about like a loon.
He is best mates with Pearl

Pearl

🌸This gorgeous girl is full of affection. She’s the kind of cat where whatever you’re doing, you turn around and she’s just quietly sitting nearby. Although she’s young, she has an empathetic quality which is deeply touching.

🏰Pearl is full of curiosity and thoroughly enjoys something new to explore – cardboard box forts with doors and windows were a big hit with her!

💖Pearl is silky furred, short haired but with a hint of floofiness. She has her full quota of Crazy Kitten playfullness combined with a very gentle nature and loves a cuddle!

🏡Pearl is looking for a home with Peanut

‼️‼️‼️Awareness Raising‼️‼️‼️ Just a post to try and raise a bit of awareness about what goes on behind the scenes! Today we’ve had over 300 messages that are rescue related, I am one person and I’ve answered the majority-some I still need to reply to! Today I’ve responded to a lot of people with the same message-“please check out our process which is pinned to the top of the page or on the link here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/EDRGkB7ga1x63fXh/? “ If you are interested-please do take a look at our process as it answers so many questions! We also get so many adoption applications which don’t match the requirements we have stated are essential e.g no cats for the greyhounds. We don’t say this to be mean or unreasonable-we say it to keep YOUR cats safe. We have taken a lot of grief for saying greyhounds must be muzzled and not in homes with small furries-this is the same for the majority of greyhound rescues! This is not us being mean-it is us being responsible and aware of the risks! I have had 6 messages today alone questioning why they would need to be on lead and muzzled! We place restrictions upon the type of home needed for a dog because that’s what is best for the individual dog-we assess thoroughly and do our best to match correctly! We are absolutely supportive of families adopting from us but we must prioritise the children’s safety! In some cases it doesn’t matter how dog-savvy your children are, the dog simply doesn’t like/isn’t suitable to be around them. Children come first! We don’t take risks with their safety in their own home even if the parents are prepared to! Please try to be understanding and respectful, it is so hard working in rescue without any unpleasantness when we are trying our best ###x
