Some people often assume this is the most amazing weather to be a dog Walker in, but actually it's super bloody stressful!

Our lunchtime walks are moved to the mornings, and I have cancellations due to some of the dogs not coping well in temperature above 18! We also sometimes have to pop back to the dog later in the day to ensure they've had their needs met whilst the owners are at work meaning we work twice as hard! This is not me complaining, it's just an insight to what pressure heatwaves bring and to let you know we only have your dogs best interest at heart!

It is NOT just the pavement that can do damage to your dogs paws, dogs can over heat and become very unwell just like us if they are out on a walk anywhere, even spending too much time in the garden over exerting themselves can cause heatstroke and in server cases, death! Don't kill your dog for taking them for a walk, find enrichment activities for them to do - if you're struggling for ideas just send me a message ✨

I myself have a dog that will not poo in the garden, and sometimes doesn't like to wee there either 🙄 so bear in mind their may be dog owners that need to find a patch of grass in the shade to let their dog do that business!

With that I just wanted to say another huge thank you for all the customers who are so understanding and dealing with the change of schedule this week!

Paws Just Wanna Explore turns 2 today🥹🥹🥳🥳
I cannot believe i’ve been doing this job (it’s too fun to be a job) for 2 years now🤯 and I still love it as much as when I first started. Thank you all so much for your continued support and trusting me with all your dogs, I couldn’t do this without all my amazing customers (who I now consider my friends too🥰) I absolutely love spending time with them all🥹 Nothing brings me more joy than their happy wiggles when I arrive to pick them up🫶 The Paws Just Wanna explore family has continued to grow this past year which i’m so thankful for and I love each and every pup so so much. Not forgetting that we have also had a few heartbreaking loses😢💔 which is by far the hardest part of this job❤️
The team has grown (Betsy) although we nearly fired her yesterday when she smashed 6 eggs on my rug🤣 Hugo continues to be the best business partner (and friend) in the world and he’s enjoying teaching Betsy the ways and I love doing this with them both and getting to spend everyday with my two babies🥰
I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store and thank you all again, so much❤️
This business has brought me so many new friends and opportunities, I have made friends all over the country, I recently went all the way to Suffolk for one of their baby showers because they really are true friends for life❤️
I have also made so many local friends especially all my ladies (and Arnie) in the Canine Carers group, they are the best support and friends, I could not of done this without you guys and I can’t wait for our next meet up❤️
Hugo and Betsy say a big thank you for letting mum walk your dogs, meaning we get to play with our friends everyday🥳
