Another week over and it's been one of frustration and challenge with the blanket of snow meaning we have struggled to get our orders collected.

It's amazing, how this amazing community of frog keepers can have a slice of jungle in there living room and some of us have a foot of snow outside the door.

The current commute to work, once again Fantastic frogs is snowbound, luckily the power is holding out, and each day we get partially clear and vehicles are getting in and out, today we were a bit more snowed in and so the postman didnt make it, we'll catch up with the orsers as soon as its safe for the postie to get to us!!!

Heads up to anyone using the website, we have disabled card payments temporarily whilst we try to improve our site security. Over the last two weeks our site has been subjected to card testing, this is where stolen cards are used to buy low value items, most fail because they've been cancelled but occasionaly one might work at which point they're then used fraudulantly until they are cancelled. But for now on we can only accept paypal payments or bank transfers. Sorry for any inconvenience.

UPDATE, so we have power back which means we have shipped our outstanding orders, so anyone waiting should have parcels arriving tomorrow! However we didn't escape unscathed, the vast majority of frogs (200+ vivs) are fine but our tadpole rearing unit has suffered casualties which is gutting but frankly after 5 nights with no power it could have been worse.

Evening all, just an update from us, thanks to the power of storm Darragh we've been without power since the early hours of Saturday morning, we're doing our best to keep things going with generators and hard graft but we may struggle to get stuff out to you all, please bear with us. So far the power company has been telling us each day it will be back on by the end of the day, and then at the end of the day they change to the following day. Currently hopefully tomorrow at 10pm!!

Over the last few weeks we've been busily working on a few developments up at Fantastic frogs, this includes redeveloping our Dendrobates breeding pod, emptying our old chameleon room to make a focused Phyllobates, Epipedobates, Ameerega and Mantella room. But the first to completion is our new fly room this will allow us to hold 5 times the flies we had before and allow us to offer fresh intermediates and mature through our shop!
