Hey all, as most of you are aware, myself and Gracie have decided to run GDS without employees and as a family run business whilst keeping the same amount of availability as we had whilst working with employees, this means we have very little time for ourselves outside of our walks so we have decided that to ensure things are run sustainably we are going to set some dates where we take time off each year and we will keep the dates the exact same year after year so everyone can plan accordingly. The dates we will be closed are the following;

April - 7th - 13th
June - 23rd - 29th
September - 16th - 22nd
December - 23rd - 29th

Because of the short notice, these periods of time off will begin from December 2024 and we will be walking as normal this September.

Evening all, we are making a slight adjustment to our walking times, this will be a permanent change. This is so we can fit everyone into a slot they are happy with.

We have moved everyone into the slot that we think best matches what they would be happy with, if you have any questions or want to request a walk time feel free to send us over a message.

Morning All, the heat is slowly rising so we’d just like to get everyone up to date with how we run things over the summer. Anytime the temperature hits 24c we cancel walks to ensure the safety of all dogs. Heat stroke is something that goes from 0-100 very quickly and is a very scary thing to experience so we take no risks with it.

If we anticipate a certain day is going to go above 24c, we will introduce our summer walking times, which is the following;

06:00

07:30

09:00

All other times will automatically be cancelled. If you have any questions about how this may impact you just let us know☀️

Hey All👋🏽

Just a quick behind the scenes update, myself (Cole) & Gracie have made the decision to run GDS with just the two of us for a while which means we have much less wriggle room in terms of availability but we know the quality of our work will remain high.

Because of the limited availability we have, we strongly recommend booking a regular slot for your dog to avoid missing out on walks or if you are waiting for shifts, please give us as much notice as you possibly can, we have always booked pups in last minute without issue but that is now going to be a lot tougher, however if we can get you booked in last minute, we will try our best.

Thank you to everyone who supports us and uses our services, you are the reason we wake up with excitement for the day ahead🐾🌲🐶

DOG OWNERS - Please be aware of Grit Salt, it is used as an antifreeze on our roads and gets onto paths to from grit salt trucks, when walking your dog along paths and roads when temperatures are low, always wash their paws or when you get home as this stuff is irritating to dogs paws and poisonous if eaten by your dog.
