Hello peeps, mum says sorry she’s been so neglectful recently and has not updated my page for a while, says something about being busy but really it’s not on is it! Anyway one of the things that’s happened is me and George had to go to the horrible smelly place and have those bloody stick things stuck in us and mum and dad days it’s to protect us from nasty germs! But guess what, they stole some of my blood!! I was a very good boy even tho I was very put out and the nice man we met said I am perfect so I guess I’ve forgiven him for stealing my blood! Anyway mum and dad were happy cos a little while later they got a message to say I don’t have brucella canis whatever that is! So they tell us that’s both me and Darcy negative and they all seem very relieved! This is us celebrating in the sun for the very short while we got some cos my god has it been raining here! Anyway off now for a run in the garden and see what I can dredge up from the pond 💚

Some facts about our Ernie!

Hello it’s me Ezra just showing off cos now I like the pond and George doesn’t! He always used to go in and I would watch from the side but now the pawrants can’t keep me out which they seem not too happy about and keep washing me down afterwards which I’m not too pleased about! Still it’s fun trying to catch any unsuspecting ducks!

So hello everyone! It is apparently a special day today cos my human sister is 21! I frankly don’t feel like all the attention being on her and not me but I guess it’s ok if it’s just for one day! And daddy gave me a taste of his special drink which I quite liked but then mum said i mustn’t have it and spoilt all our fun🙃

So mummy is feeling sad today as she says it’s 2 years since Freddie left us so we thought we’d cheer her up with some madness! She says me and Darcy make her laugh every day with our antics, frankly we don’t know what that means but it’s nice to know we are doing the right thing!

Me and George would like to make a complaint! I mean can’t a boy get any sleep these days! Strange men here all the time, in our bloody garden, playing loud music and using big and very scary machines! Mum says we were supposed to be having a little roof repair before something called solar panels go up and then the humans made all sorts of faces and said it’s now a total roof replacement plus some windows! There seems to be a bit of a panic for a while and mum was a bit stressed and dad swore a lot but they seem to have calmed down now so I guess it’s all ok but I just want all the noise to stop really! This is us on our back garden patio which we were supposed to be having replaced but mum says that’s not happening now! As long as they can afford our treats tho I don’t care! 😄

Hello peeps it’s I Ezra Hound! Mummy says she forgot to post yesterday as it was my 3 year gotcha day hurrah!! I’m living my best life and yesterday was special cos I got some extra treats and my human sister Maisie came home to stay for the week so I got cuddles from her! I nearly caught a duck too but the blighter just managed to get away from me, it did mean I went in the pond tho so then I had to have a shower but it’s ok cos daddy made sure it was a nice warm one! Roast beef today mum says and as it my birthday weekend I’m gonna make sure I get me some of that!

Hello peeps, I want to introduce you to my new girlfriend Darcy! She came to us a couple of weeks ago and we are fostering her for the lovely ladies at Troilloi Cy Pound! She was with another lady first but mum went on a long drive and brought her home to us, she’s a very frightened little thing so we all doing our best to help her with her nerves! To begin with the humans couldn’t touch her and if they even went near her she ran away and hid but she is slowly getting more confident and playful! She really is the sweetest little girl and I’ve been especially kind to her! Mum can now stroke her but no one else has been allowed to yet! Oh and she hates the rain and the mud which is a shame as the pond is now filling up nicely 😀 more photos to follow.

Hello and happy Saturday! I have been keeping mum company mostly on the sofa as she’s not feeling very well! She says I do cheer her up but she still seems not right to me, she’s making funny noises a lot!! She says she’s had a chest infection and that’s why she’s making the funny noises but it’s been ages now and I think she should stop feeling sorry for herself and get back in the garden! So to encourage her I’ve been eating extra pears and apples from the garden and farting a lot which I hope she apppreciates! Just my way of encouraging her 😜

Hello from still sunny Norfolk! My Doris isn’t feeling quite herself today so I’m being a lovely younger bro! She was sick this morning and she’s been a bit quiet for her so I’m just letting her know I love her! Mummy is a bit worried so she’s stayed in with us all day and kept an eye on her, she says Doris is getting old so she’s gonna worry more but she’s just a worry wart anyway! Mummy keeps worrying that I’m eating too many apples and pears from the garden and she caught me pulling them off the tree but I have to cos she spoils all my fun and keeps going round picking up all the windfalls! We still loving our humongous garden even tho both the ponds have dried up so we have no mud to wallow in!! I still seem to find loads of dirt and muck and I suffered the indignity of a shower yesterday but I guess I’m still happy with the pawrents overall! 💚

Good morning from a rather wet Norfolk! Dad must be bored cos he gave me a brush so now I’m sulking on the sofa! The pond has all dried up so we can’t all cause absolute mayhem at the moment by going in and getting all muddy and then running in the house!🙃 we all know it drives mum mad cos she has to get that mop thing out and clean up after us but you know what……she loves us so it’s only right that she caters to our every whim! 🤪

She went and bloody did it again and took me to that place where they steal all of your hair and put you in a bath and make you smell all strange!! So in protest I’m not talking to her and instead am just sitting with daddy who would never do such a cruel thing to me!

Hello peeps it is I Ezra again. So dad likes a few nuts with his evening beer and I just won’t rest until I get one too! George is also similarly obsessed! I know that dad likes to try and open them stealth like but I can always hear that packet opening 🤪 plus I think we deserve all the treats we can get cos the parents went away for a whole weekend and left us! I mean I know we were at home with all the other family here but still……..! Doris is not bothered about the nuts so more for me and George!

Hello peeps, it’s I Ezra! Much fun today as daddy got new waders so went in to clean the pond! I can’t say I’m that keen on the pond myself but George loves a go but then doesn’t like it after when mum insists he has a shower before he’s let back in the house again! Anyway I went all around the outside just making sure dad didn’t drown and I got quite muddy so mum made me shower too which I’m not that happy about so I had to get on dads lap for a cuddle!

Hello again! After yesterday I have become a Velcro dog but as mum had gone out to visit our former foster dog Winston I made Maisie my lap buddy for the day! She was supposed to be working on a university assignment but I decided no!

Hello there from a sunny but rainy and windy Norfolk! So mum went and did something odd today and put me in the car on my own. I thought we were off for some special happy time together but oh no, she went and took me to that place that smells funny and there were other dogs all a bit stressed! I tried very hard to be brave but I was very frightened especially by the man in the doorway who tried to stroke me and then the funny vet man! This is a new vet person and they made me go to another room without mum and he stuck a sharp thing in my leg and stole some of my blood the rude sod! Then he took me back to mum and I was mighty relived to see her until he stuck another bloody needle in me and said something about me being protected for another year! Anyway after all the horriblenesses he gave me a big stroke and said I was a perfect boy, perfect weight, perfect coat, and I even did a perfect little point especially for him! I hope I never have to go back again! Mum said I was very brave and they are just making sure I don’t have leishmaniasis and she gave me some of my favourite cheesy biscuits yum! 💚

Hello again from muddy Norfolk! It’s I Ezra with my new bestie Winston, he’s coming along very nicely now and has calmed down a lot! He can be a bit vocal at times but mum says he is still young, he has the occasional mad moment but it doesn’t last long! Mum says she thinks we’ll have to start loooking for his forever home soon but I’m not sure I wants him to leave 💚
